    I don't think it's an attack. There are hundreds of guests with IP addresses from the Netherlands who are viewing a thread about a guy in St. Anton who was punched in the face by a Dutch man. I'm not making this up.

    I'm not sure about chat, but my guess is that our web guy pointed it at the homepage because chat is pretty CPU intensive.

    Well, I can't really explain why the chat went down this time. Has to do with all the php configurations we were tweaking this week.

    I've implemented an eval version of a chat application I've been meaning to try out. Now seemed like a good time. to get into it. Please go to http://www.tetongravity.com/chat and beat it to death. Let us know how it works for you.
