Heading to PNW- 1/10-1/22

Okay, since you guys have bogarted all of the snow and left us IceCoasters with NOTHING, I'm heading your way next month.

Here's my proposed itinerary:

Jan 10- arrive in Seattle.
Jan 11- check out the city, buy some fish, play tourist.
Jan 12- Mt. Baker
Jan 13-15- Whistler/BC
Jan 16- Possibly Baker,
Jan 17-21- hit various Cascades areas TBD, depending on who's around and what the weather is like.

So I'll be around those days, who else will be?

I should get back from a trip sometime after the 8th or so, I'll probably be game during your Cascades window.

Plans are in the works for your proper tour my dear. I will be in attendance as much as I can manage...Baker could be for sure.

I have threatened to return during that time, but those could be empty words . . . and minimal planning will occur to be sure.

If Baker is firing, you will not want to go anywhere else. Bring an AT setup if you have one, and avy gear.

Ill be at Baker all those days. Free lodging available on Lummi Bay if ya need it

. We should have a bonfire/BBQ/rager out here either way, I havent thrown a party out here since HS.

I mean xtaltrm has volunteered the rager...and we're talking about converging on baker...

If am not myself on the west side for better snow, your welcome in the inland PNW plake if you decide to head east on 90. It has been a pretty good year on the east side so far, PLENTY of deep powder so far. It has been lighter than usual too, much lighter than the west side...

A couple friends and i will be in the PNW some time around the 3rd or so too. We road-trippin. We'll have some of Colorado's finest,the stickiest of the icky.

lighter snow than on the west side. NEVER said it was better on the east side...biding my time while i am finishing up the degree before i leave town and have started my apps to UNC and UNM for Ph.D for my next ski, er school destination...

i am back from Europe on 10th, if Rugbydave is free i would definitely like to go shred some lines to Baker...then Whistler during the week...if you need a place to crash in Vancouver, you are welcome...

I believe the 15th is Martin Luther, so that would mean I am taking the 16th & 17th off to do some skiing up at Crystal.
