oh, snap! i've only read about those days! ;-) if a ski goes under, it's pretty tough to find regardless of color....but yeah, if only the tip or some part is exposed then this one could be particularly tough.

but... but... what about that little bit of pink writing?

don't rub it in...we need some snow soon. i'm sure it will come.

They must have been markers...... Actually they were Deadbolt demos. It did serve as a reminder why I dont alpine on deep days

i'm sure info is probably out there, but how do the deadbolts rate as alpine bindings in 3 words or less? good/eh/bad?

i don't ski on alpine bindings, but i'm kind of curious how these do.

I think the jury is still out but from what I've seen/heard, they rate 'meh'.

Not trying to 'rub it in', that would be gross. We are hurting for snow too...

Certainly a uniquely wasatch thing for sure. I can only imagine what that's like

I had some red skis once. I made them more white/black with some checkerboard shelf paper and they stayed nice and visible. Plus young girlies would complement me on them. Therefore.....that's what you should do.

you tahoe guys would NEVER know anything about 10 feet of snow in 4 days or 17 feet of snow in 10 days or anything like that.

    (god winter 2004-5 was fun.)

I remember that winter, i was a gaper who thought he was the shit on his pocket rockets, I want to go back in time and bitch slap myself.

a gaper is a gaper regardless of the ski, and i doubt you were one.

depending on height & weight you could have been ripping on pocket rockets.

the opposite scenarios is one being a poseur on EHP 193s. the ski doesn't make the rider, nor does it take anything away from him/her.

i guess i was saying that one can pose on the XXXX hot ski as easily as one can rip on YYYY out-of-favor ski....although eventually it is likely that the latter skier will move to a different stick.

what's hot/what's not on this board, though, absolutely does get influenced by group think in many cases (but not all, of course).

the EHP 193s are about as hot as can be when they're in a living room. won't know for sure until they touch the cold stuff.

I love it when skis go out of favor, I buy them (hypothetically) for cheap, and then they come back in favor. (Spats between this winter and last come to mind.) Then I feel cool

Hey. I was just trying to come up with a reason someone would think a white and black ski was a good idea.

All those flourescent colors of the 80s were more a matter function than we thought.

Sort of a toss up at the moment, could go out there or I could explore around Stowe. Depends on the snow here I guess.
