    Tip protectors

My '06 VCTs came to me with about a 8mm long flake peeled up on the topsheet on one tip. I'm hoping it's not a sign of things to come, with all the talk of the poorly pressed Option skis, but I think I'll nip it in the bud by putting some tip protectors on. Where do I found these? I asked a reputable tech at Bobo's here in Reno but he kinda just shrugged it off. I noticed Corky had some metal caps on his LP's....where do I find those?

Pry them off his skis when he's not looking.

If you wanna get super-ghetto-fabulous, I have some slalom tip protectors you can have. (Will involve you cutting the tips off your skis with a saw, then drilling 2 holes per tip, to screw these on.)

Tip protectors are often tip-specific. I had a bunch of them that I was going to try to fit on Bros, but the curves didn't work. Sorry, I chucked them.

I'd suggest gluing that topsheet, though, for starters.

if they are from the factory, why don't you contact them and ask what the dealio is? A new ski should DEFINITLY not be having issues before you even get a chance to ski them....
