I do think you’re missing the main point. They’re fucking RED!

That mount point on the MTour 108 is intriguing. Definitely, a new shape based on the specs. If they really come out to less than 1500g a ski in a 185ish true size I'd be psyched to try it out.
I just glanced at Wildsnow's take on the new MTN Summit 12: https://www.wildsnow.com/33691/salom...-a-first-look/
Kinda crazy that there is 50mm of heel adjustment on the braked version. Seems like an ridiculous amount and at least a few extra unnecessary grams FWIW.
Coming from a lifetime of sales, this kind of bullshit drives me nuts. Since working part time at a store I haven’t found one Rep that I thought was half decent.
Swix has a pole called the Triac that I broke, my friend’s broke, and we all know others that broke and the rep acted like he didn’t know anything about it. The OR rep is a moron. Nobody returns calls. G3 rep prolly acts like the skins work great, and were always great, or says they “haven’t heard that”.
Some very cool things for next season.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7598197cf3.jpg

Yep, as a former rep (some of my dealers still miss me) drives me crazy too. We have a couple good hard goods reps, same in clothing. The accessory and parts guys are brutal. The "I've never seen that before" when I've got 3 examples lined up in my little store. In some cases we've suggested just giving us the dudes commission in discounts as we've never seen them and know more about the product anyway.
188 material, 186 straight pull. Heavy and damp, reverse cambered.

Oh well then.
LP105s and B-Squads. For the longer ones, that is.

We'll see about durability down the road, but man, after four days on these, I'm sorta in love with the toe. They're tall, so if you mix and match heels you can get a pretty flat delta without shims, they've got a clever anti-icing feature, and they ski well, like really well. I tend to come out of tech toes skiing inbounds, and after two days making terrible decisions on these, I've got nary a prerelease to show for my troubles. I think the sticking point on this binding will be the U spring, because otherwise, they're really cool.
Feck, didn’t want/need to buy more skis next season. Ugh!

As usual, Marshal decides when to let details fly, but in general terms, I'm super excited about the C90. Almost like an anorexic C113.
For Norwegian coastal alpine spring conditions, skiing in May or June, even day tours with the kids. One sad thing is that I likely need to buy lighter boots, but that budget's blown anyway, so no matter.

I’m so stoked on that FL, when marshal and I were conversing last week, I told him I wanted a katana, Cochise, Corvus bastard child and that pic came back in response. Beyond stoked. Mean looking machine.
Hold on a minute, while I find the Cayman account numbers.

Various 2024 brand previews including DPS, Stockli, Kästle, Dynastar and others.
DPS sees a fair bit of change. simplification of their regular skis into a Kaizen 100 (rp) - 105 (c2) - 112 (rp), a tweaked Koala103 and a brand new Koala111.
DPS Skis 2024: The First Look
Always evolving.
DPS always brings something new to the table year after year. After releasing their latest and greatest technology in the Pagoda Tour last year, this year we get an all new resort collection: Kaizen. Top it off with a brand new Koala, and we’ve got ourselves some fun new skis to try from DPS for 2024.
https://www.powder7.com/ski-blog/wp-..._2-rotated.jpg What’s New
First, a bit of context. This year, DPS drops their “RP” and “C2” nomenclature from their model names. Now, the ski names are simplified and there are general shapes DPS uses, but they have a bit more freedom to tinker with shapes.
Replacing the old (but gold) Pagoda series this year are the new Kaizen skis. The ski selection is slimmer, with a Kaizen 100 and Kaizen 112 that have a more rockered profile, and the Kaizen 105 with a more directional shape. DPS describes the Kaizen 105 as having a longer turn radius, a longer effective edge, and less tip taper all to help it hold an edge and give greater stability in variable snow conditions. The 100 and 112 have deeper rocker lines which ring similar to the old RP shape.
https://www.powder7.com/ski-blog/wp-...skis2024_1.jpg The Kaizen also utilizes an updated core. DPS uses the carbon laminate developed for the Pagoda Tours last season, as well as tweaks to the ash in the wood core with a new glue that improves dampening.
There’s also new news for the Koala freestyle skis: a Golidlocks Koala 111. Slotting between the Koala 103 and Koala 118, the Koala 111 offers a more responsive ride in tight terrain, while floating better and being more stable in choppy conditions.

The Koala 103 recieved an update to the flex, the core, and rocker profile. The 118 remains unchanged.
No changes to the Pagoda Tours series after an overhaul last season.
The powder machine Lotus 124 and Lotus 117 come back with fresh graphics. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better big powder ski than the Lotus 124, while the 117 packs a punch in a more…reasonably sized package.
Flylow is chilling out on the colors from what I just saw in the book and talked to the rep about. The next year man purple is sweet. And they are making insulated baker bibs, that’s another take my money situation.
Greg with the good Beta!

yeah, for sure - but then again their lineup has been an absolute clusterfuck naming wise the last few seasons after Drake got ousted.
Think the Lotus 117 will still be so floppy it chatters in fresh pow?
