R105s, no question. Yeah, you get a decent length tip, but if you're happy on bones in trees, you'll be fine on the R105s as well. The 110s may be too forward.Quote:

I did that initially, see thoughts in the fl105 thread. I think, if you like driving your skis in a forward stance, you should be at -12.5 or -12. If you're more neutrally inclined, -11 to -10.5 might work for you.Quote:

I skied my goliaths today in very mixed snow expecting lots of hidden rocks(only found a few). They float better than the bones but could be a bit damper and looser in the tail. The r105s should float better and be looser but do they want to go Mach chicken at all times? I like to drive my skis most of the time but don’t want something that bites me too hard if I stand up in a tight spot.

I passed soon many people on this last trip that was in mixed crud, variable visibility conditions, just staying in the fall line with the suspension sucking it up.
