That's fucked up. I listen to hip hop every chance I get. I like it more than anything else. It demands RESPECT with its words and it hypnotizes me with its groove. It's better than rock and roll. Have you ever actually listen to any rap/hip hop?

Some of it is far more eloquent, thought provoking, and mature than 90% of the rock out there. There are plenty of artists who never mention anything about a sawed offs, raping women, or any of that.

Don't judge a whole genre (really a family of different genres) by what you hear on the radio. You wouldn't judge rock music as a whole by listening to Kelly Clarkson would you?
