Ya, I missed the cut by 0.8 pts :-p. Oh well, not bad for my first time, next year I'll just have to throw down a line of Bobbly Lee's caliber.

Thanks for grabbing the photo man, I'll have to steal the full sized shot from ya. I can't remember much from my line except I remember taking a nice deep breath while skiing into dead tree air and then not breathing until the bottom. Remember to breathe, it's pretty easy to forget.

Good luck to all the mags ridding today. I'm pretty sure that list is chalk full of A+ athletes. I'll see you out there!

I know Splat brought him a special pair, last I heard the verdict was still out on wether or not he was going to ski the comp with them.

I guess the way I see it is anyone could ski down the gut and make it look pretty or easy, if you hit bigger features it's riskier. I landed all my airs clean, and took quite large ones at that but got points deducted for dumping speed, when last comp I did I got dinged for carrying too much speed... I don't get it, I'm confused and it frustrates me.

Stoked for all the Whistler Crew that killed it! Frenchies Little C, PY, Max, Matty, Blazer, and then Crabtree and Jen etc, and the rest of the mags that are still in the chase.

Girls were throwing down today, it was good to see.

nadia bummer to hear what happened to you, keep killing it cause people are going to be noticing that you're going large whether you win comps or not!

naw folks, the days of just staying on your feet to podium went the way of the dodo years ago... now the top fifteen finishers ALL stayed on their feet and, most likely, the top ten did unbelievable shit. I'm actually getting pretty tired of hearing skiers come up to judges (baby zilla you know who you are- shame on you) and giving them shit when the fact of the matter is that they skied like pussies. I'm not one to really talk, considering I blew up on the frenchy rock up top yesterday, but if I stomped my airs it would have been top ten for sure- my scopes were set realistically.
