I was on the fence about going, then I snagged first chair.

Da faq! We were 4 chairs behind you this morning then
Good first day of lift served. Even if it was just two lifts.

Well done, people…!
While I can’t get up there yet, seeing the season going is boosting vibes here!

^^^^Bummer
The mighty Red Chair at Bachelor opens this Friday as well. Wish I could hit it but some EVP scheduled a meeting at 9am on Friday....:cussing:
Optimal conditions to repel the local riff raff.
Dammit. Forecast this AM said rain would turn to all snow by 0700 Friday. Now they say not until 1000. May end up waiting until the weekend and ski with 5000 of my closest friends

Skiing it's an outdoor sport.
You look kinda damp there.
And you look like a traffic cone
Started getting very firm by 4 pm at MHM. Bring your groomer zoomers tomorrow.
ETA: HRM opening! Go get that primo corduroy!
I know that no one cares but just in case;

^^^Nice
We bailed at 1030 due to insane crowd levels.

Back tomorrow for more training
Stuck it out 'til noon. Cone lap was the perfect way to end the day. Surprised to find an untracked line most of the way right down the middle. Got deeper towards the bottom.
And more like 20 if you had buddies with you.
I will stipulate that as a weekday skier I’m spoiled.
I had to spend 10 min at top of Sky waiting for crew. Every third chair had at least one person fall on the off-ramp exit. All but one was a boarder.
Any report from MHM? Kicking the season off with the kid tomorrow.
The grooming was fine. Off piste was almost unskiable Saturday. There was a few brown spots appearing at the bottom of HRM by noon.
Web site says Vista today!
Meadows has an awesome crew this season, they've been on top if it.
The line at MHX was bad before 10:30, but Vista should help with that
Has anyone been up the heather runout yet? Curious about snow bridge status.
Mt Bachelor was funnerer than yesterday, for the most part.
The exception - took me from 11:15 until 12:45 today to get from base of Red to the sky lot. Three runs, probably 20 total minutes going downhill.
Will be sooooo much nicer in eight days and the mountain is pretty much open and we can ski midweek.
The Ambassador I talked to didn’t know when Summit was going to open…
About 70cm at lake level at Todd on Saturday. Anything in the trees was dripped/bombed horror. Open areas were ok. If another foot-ish falls on that it will be decent by mid-week!
When does Summit open?
