Brand New Marker COMP 18.0 Free Bindings F/S

These bindings are greasy and brand new, in the box, ready to go. Never used. For stats and pics, I had trouble finding them on the web, but here is a link to one of the only places i could find them: http://www.mountainmagic.com/equipme...ker-comp18.htm
These are rugged bindings for heavy duty backcountry and pow or people who weigh more than I do and push their skiing hard... I am selling these because I have realized that I am too light for these bindings and should probably invest in some with a lower DIN range. The DIN on these ranges from 8-18! They are Marker's top of the line Comp/ Freestyle bindings. PM me with offers my friends

he is new, he will start to understand this is an almost marker free zone...(btw, sub skier, did you read the selling guidelines before posting up?)

What is the advantage of the greasiness?

    Grease reduces friction.

If one is a JONG, one must, by definition, JO.

Friction can be a problem in the JO process.

    Ergo... JONG.

Also, um, usually, 18 DIN clamps sport much metal. Backcountry skiers avoid extra weight. So, no, these aren't particularly well suited for the backcountry.

I'm not interested to buy at all, but I am wondering, how much metal is in these?

Are all the points where your boot would contact the binding metal? What about the rest of the toe/heel housing? Also, the holes the mounting screws go through, do the screws go through metal, or just plastic?

under the toe, there is a bit of metal. the red part on the toe and heelpiece is metal im pretty sure. if its not metal, then its some Super hard plastic. all the black is heavy duty plastic, and the heelpiece binding release is metal. here is a picture that might help:

    http://www.mountainmagic.com/equipme...ker-comp18.jpg

the screws go through metal on like half of the holes, while the other half are just plastic.
