Live2- British Airways over Delta? Definitely not my experience, Delta wins that match up hands down.

The only bag Ive ever had delayed was BA, at a LHR transfer no less
Food was better on BA, but an overall experience, flying Delta+, Delta wins
For coach, Id fly BA again for sure
Tickets always need to match ID names, at the time of booking, for all airlines. That's not Turkish Airlines exclusive or anything related to current events.
Try using online chat for putting you and your daughter back onto the same reservation number. Or, if flight costs are the same when booking that ticket today (and you can get a full refund or full credit), look into canceling your two separate tickets and rebooking under one ticket.
I know that the name thing is not just Turkish Airlines, that's why I wanted to make sure the names exactly matched. Their process makes it difficult -- they even have a special page about how to enter your name -- because they don't have fields for middle names (or things like Jr., hyphenated names, and the like). But the fact that the names needed to be changed wasn't annoying, it's their process for doing so. Cannot talk to an agent, must do it through their feedback form, and one feedback form can only address one passenger and two legs, so for 2 passengers on the same reservation with 4 total legs, that is 4 forms you have to submit. That's just a stupid process. And according to the person I spoke with, there is no way to put us back on the same reservation. I am going to try again.

I don't recall ever using my middle name for an international plane ticket. Maybe I've been lucky.
For int'l travel, my work puts my first and middle name into the entry for first name. I can't say that's right for Turkey, but it has worked fine when I've traveled abroad.
Having two documents with conflicting middle initials = no bueno.
Having none or more documents without a middle initial = not a problem.

However many are in a shit ton.
Question for yall Europe/US travel nerds.
We’re planning our timing for our return home. Milan to Lisbon to US with an intentional 20+hr layover in Lisbon.
How many hours ahead of time do we need to arrive at the milan airport before departure?
I assume we should get to the Lisbon airport for our international flight 3hrs early, like as recommended in the states, right?
The Dolomites have been beautiful and rad with my wife and the children. Temps and humidity have been a bit high, but not too bad. We’ve explored a bit by car, lift system, and foot.
I have found it hard to find info about some of the obviously appealing spicy ski lines. Are there online resources? I have not been successful finding details.

Probably no use to you this late, but there are a couple of good hotels--one with a good restaurant and one next door to one--just outside the Milan airport.
Thanks. Maybe next time.
We stayed in ollegio (near mxp) for 2 nights when we arrived, and decided to see part of the big city (Milan) for 2 nights before heading back. We’ll be staying in the gorla neighborhood. No big plans for Milan. It’s supposed to be 99* on Sunday with the heat index. Been based in Val Gardena for over a week which has been pretty nice.

what da fuck does “inspired by Alitalia” mean?
ITA was created after Alitalia went belly up and also bought the name, for better or worse, I dunno, I've never flown them.
Some screaming deals to Rome if you feel like battling hellish heat and possible terrorist attacks.
Did anybody take advantage of the cheap July flights?
I had semi success with the Timeshifter app free trial. There’s a broad assumption that you’ll be able to sleep on your flight, not experience flight delays, and will have minimal commutes to and from the airports. IDK if the pay version allows the ability to alter some of those things.
Had a great family trip to the Dolomites with my wife and kids. Cool area and interesting culture. Apparently, not as many tourists when we were there as will be experienced through the rest of the summer. I had a lot fun driving in the area. Would love to explore the area on skis.
Any Turo pros here? I messed up and need to get out of a non-refundable reservation. One option seems to be to plead with the host to cancel on their end. That gets me the refund but low volume hosts take a reputation hit and seem likely to refuse (I've asked, waiting for a response). The other option seems to be to no-show. For long trips the policy seems to say that they will charge you for two days and refund the rest. That's not a bad deal, but I'm confused why I get no money if I cancel but get a ~75% refund if I no-show. It seems like there's a catch I'm missing but I'm not seeing it in the policy.
Any other options?

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but I bring a Fire TV on all my trips now and it’s actually a big time saver.
Well maybe I'm the faggot America
I'm not a part of a redneck agenda
Alaska Airlines has a buy one, get one deal on flights to Hawaii right now. Travel between August 10-November 19 and flights must depart after 5 pm local time. I just booked tickets to Kona in October for $550 total for my wife and I. Offer ends at midnight tonight.
I think it is (or will quickly be) all airlines. The article I read indicated they use your browsing cookies and ha it's to determine what you can afford and somehow price accordingly.
Anyone use a VPN or service to show a foreign location to price shop? Adverts indicate you can see lower prices. Maybe change your location to a 3rd world country and Google for coupons for Mac and cheese prior to looking for flights?
I'm sure whoever sold this fucked up idea to Delta promised a lot in regards to preventing work arounds.
