Yeah, I don't really need any more skis so I had mixed emotions when the four or five skis that piqued my interest were "sold out".

Thank you for the work you do in your mad scientist's workshop, Marshal!

I thought I saw two pair in there?
The older I get, the faster I was.

Twas I... I've also had my eye on them for a while, honestly surprised they were still around because they were extremely tempting at the non-sale price too. Open holes for pivots @ my BSL, woot. Any alpentalics who can get a boot in to a ~315 BSL pivot mount are welcome to take them for a spin. If they don't work for me I'll pass them along here.

Honestly the mounts are why I held off. My BSL is 335mm, so didn't want to put another set of holes in them. Plus I have 6 pair around that width already. [emoji28]

That one-ninety SE one one six is an interesting looking ski. What's the story behind those?

/\/\/\ 2FUNKY described them as Lhasa killers.
Sooo, fall line missiles but with just enough tip/tail rise for fun on demand.
Cambered and flat depending on pressing.

ZF = Zero Fucks and stiffer then the SE (Secret Edition)

@CA - just to help connect a few dots for you...

The SE116 is a prototype ski, the same overall shape as the RC116 (tip-waist-tail, sidecut), just pressed with a low reverse camber profile and an 8/10 flex. The RC116 (production) version has a camber pocket underfoot and an 8.5/10 flex. There was also a Limited Edition "ZF"116 that is the same as the RC116 - just a 9.5/10 flex. The SE116 is a super fun and surfy pow ski for a more traditionally mounted skier. It likes to be -9 to -10ish mount the most IME.

    I’m considering those BC105’s in a 178.
Thinking they could be a good replacement for my current touring hoji’s- quite a bit lighter.

I have one seventy eight DPS Wailer one oh fives (stamped Pure Four) that mostly sit dormant if attractive to either of you. MO best to comment how similar or dissimilar to the BC one of fives. Flat tail and fairly stiff. Fun but directional. Not as demanding as the FL one oh fives likely due to weight.

HI Baby Bear! I'd really suggest the BC110 or BC120 for analogous shapes to the hoji designed stuff. The BC105 is FAR more directional (-10.5ish mount point). Hope that helps

@MO - How similar is the reverse camber SE116 to the FR110?
