My wife is a whipsmart, strong, resourceful woman, and is also a rabid feminist. I wouldn't want it any other way. Unfortunately, she gets very mad when my expectations for her are in line with these wonderful traits of hers. She wants actionless expectations of her to be extremely high, and actionable expectations to be extremely low, and fuck me if i mix the two up. We bought her a new car in February (which i got a deal on through a buddy, and she loves it). I handled all paperwork and coordination, and even handled getting the EV charger installed on an expedited timeline to make sure we could charge the new car. Instead of being grateful, she was resentful that I ended up on some of the paperwork alongside her name, and complained that she would have happily handled everything. So, i said fine... you can handle donating your old car. Her old car (which will not start) has not moved from the street in 3 months since, and not a single action has been taken towards selling or donating it. This is one of countless examples.

I have noticed over the last 20 years that I often have issues understanding what the fuck people are talking about especially on a cell phone.
I have really noticed lately that when talking to my wife she knows I have my back turned to her and she will say something using pronouns rather than the noun and I don't know what the fuck she's talking about and will tell her that and she gets mad that I can't read her mind. Is it too much to ask for a noun most of the time?

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

You mean words with no context? They are just words that can be ignored. Except they can't. Ignore at one's own peril.

As an example: Talking about 3 couples we know, she will say "they invited us over Monday to the Bar B Que. I ask "who, give me a noun" and she gets all pissed. This shit happens many times a day. So exhausting.

This. Why do you give a fuck who? Sounds like you're equally at fault for being deliberately obtuse.

Yeah, Mrs. Plug is still working part-time, (attorney), and so she has like 20 different things going on her head, and while looking at her phone, she’ll say “oh they invited us for dinner” and I pause and just say “Who?”
What’s the point of getting mad?
I agree in that it is getting more often, but I forget shit too.

Always lots of laughs, one spousal unit getting senile faster than the other one. My wife has been on me for a while about it, but I dare not point out her senile glitches.

She was watching me from the doorway and when I started to go back inside, she turned, ran to our bedroom, and jumped into bed with my wife, who had been asleep and was highly unamused. She shooed the dog out and slammed the bedroom door. I assume I'll be dealt with later this morning, if I don't make it, it's been a pleasure.
It could had been worst- the dog could have gone outside, got its paws all muddy and wet, then run into the house and to the bed with wet and muddy paws. (Had a dog that would do that, unless you kept her on her rope and lead and have the towel there or a bucket of water if it was really muddy to dip them in and then wipe them down.)

I love my wife and all, but Jesus Hercules Christ...

My wife was somehow born with the inability to understand basic concepts behind regulating temps in a home

I have to undertake an emergency air flow and heat/AC exercise when I get home from work way too often to make it comfortable after AC hasn't been touched all day when it warmed up 35 degrees.

Is she wearing too much skin, Booner? So.....you turn on the heat or the AC when its 35? When she hits menopause that will go down to -10.

Mrs. Plug got in a small collision merging on a roundabout. So my daughter asked her if the lane change beeper, or proximity beeper went off to let you know? So I said, “Well I turned all those off because you guys hated the way it would yank the steering wheel when you tried to merge, or beep like crazy in the garage.”
So guess whose fault it is that she got in a collision?

LDWS doesn't work under a certain speed, depending on the car, usually 35 or 45mph and definitely not in roundabouts. So use that to clear your good name sir.

My collision warning (not sure if that's the same as LDWS) works at all speeds from what I can tell. If I'm at a double-left light, and I'm in right left turn lane it'll warn me if someone is left of me. Even at a standstill.

Yup, mine also. No peeps thank Gods, just the little light in the mirror.

LDWS is not collision avoidance. It is for lane departure. There is a little camera in your windshield. Collision avoidance is done with radars and works at lower speeds.

She already said it was disabled because they don't like it in the garage, I highly doubt that argument would work.

Actually, that would be parking sensors, not collision avoidance, and also not helpful in a roundabout.

you need to take them to Paris and put them into the roundabout at the Arc De Triomphe I counted 11 lanes so they would just keep going around until they ran out of fuel

There are, I think, 10 little icons you can turn on and off, semi-related to this, and they’re all very similar. One is proximity sensor in the front, one in back, one is a lane change haptic feedback etc. etc.. I just went through the menu and clicked them all off because she seemed to be “bothered” by them. I think the proper technique now is to put them all back on.
