QFT on Plattekill…It’s become our Catskill favorite….great fall lines and trees…
[emoji638] hours door to door for us here in NEPA. We call it Elk Mountain on steroids…
Has a great bar too….really nice vibe/people.
How do you quote the person you are trying to quote and not the last post?
The Plattekill Bar... my favorite anywhere.

Brownski, good to see Catamount featured, good report. Place is legit for for such a southern ski area!
So BD carbon lowers are for 3 piece trekking poles, not 2 pc ski poles.
I ended up fixing them on a lathe with a 1.25” 3/8-24 set screw, 2 days and lookin good.
Saturday was nice and sunny on Mt Washington. Up the cog to summit, over to eastern snowfields and traverse across to oakes but didn't go down and went down Monroe. Thin cover for mid March but snow is there in the usual spots. On the way up we chatted with a guy who was in a slide in airplane (or pipeline can't remember) and there was a slide on lip I heard.![]()
I <heart> hot tele-moms

Harvey44 is working on skiing every liftserved ski area in NY. I think he should call his pursuit "The Upstate FiftyProject" but he wants to call it "Time to Ski New York". What do you guys think is a better name for it?
You'd have to define upstate. Wait, there may be a thread for that already.
Never mind.
that feat has been achieved already by multiples of folks.
Anyone else at Jay today?
Snowing lightly… that was earlier
Coming down heavily now

Upstate Fifty is the better title. It can have a subtitle for clarity when there is no context.

What about the upstate cold 40? Does Utica make a proper fluid size beverage for the homies?
Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason
M27 can you point me to anybody that has skied everything in NY? I am sure you are right that it it has been done. That would be a good interview.
the guy to ask would be the guy that runs the iSkiNY program. He was excited when i told him my plans to ski all the catskills peaks in the same day and I’m sort of sure he had said he had done it?

^^^ New owners took over this year…it’s being run the same….had a good year/ with such a crap snowless winter.
Yes, they should allow/clear for tree skiing…..would open a whole new world for us locals…(We all would do the clearing/clean up too…if they just let us in the damn woods)
besides me? probably lots of folks on that sany passholders list. Try giving scott brandi @ sany a call. (518) 796-3601 scottbrandi@iskiny.com He could probably hook you up with somebody interesting.
I did not know you had skied them all. All in one year on a SANY gold pass?
First person has naming rights.
Great accomplishment!

It has taken 56 years of skiing so far. most were first hit decades ago. sany gold helped fill in the smaller commercial places not usually sought out. lotta the old free places dont exist anymore.
Did Van Cortlandt park make the list?
