I purchased a set last month before this thread pointed out this was a common "problem". just checked the box and mine were produced in May.. guess well see what happens.. even if they do crack I would assume look will be pretty good about replacing.. fingers crossed
Looks like I’m a damn liar. Snowcountry’s seem to be 1.0. My bad.
How about some more 2.0 fuckery.
so evidently look at some point put out pairs with incorrect arms with a smaller diameter thread size. The bases don’t seem to be stamped 2.0 either though they are clearly 2.0 bases. And the threads are too small compared to the correct threads. They also won’t screw into a 1.0 either.
here’s a pair of 15’s with the smaller threads and 18’s with the correct larger thread. If you buy replacement bases they should arrive with the larger thread size.
don’t have an answer about this yet but working on it.

damn, appreciate all the updates/info FloridaSnow
Looks like (and I'm guessing) somehow you got one of the samples from trade shows last year?
Haven't seen any "cracks" in my world yet.

If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for problems caused by the government I'd be a rich fat film maker in a baseball hat.

glad to help
so they’re both supposed to be the larger threads regardless of 15/18. Just seems at some point look produced some with the incorrect smaller size. No rhyme or reason why at this point.
another pair of 15’s popped up with the smaller arms. So clearly more than 1 made it out into the wild.

Just noticed I have a pair that has the little arms. Haven’t had an issue skiing but you can definitely see the difference.
recently ordered 1.0 brake assemblies but was mistakenly sent 2.0 and they came with the adjustment arms. Also just replaced adjustment arms on an old pair of FKS and it was indeed a massive pain in the ass that involved a lot of filing and riveting and is generally something i do not recommend.
swing your fucking sword.
does anyone find the new 2.0 brakes to be slightly less accommodating with larger waisted skis?
My 1.0 115 brakes could easily go on 120+ mm skis, but it seems my 105mm 2.0 brakes wouldn't be able to go on anything 110+ without bending.
Anyone running 1.0 105mm brakes on a 110+ ski?
^^ curious about two.oh ninety five brakes on a oneohtwo
Pivot 15 2.0s on sale all sizes at Dstructure for $250 usd. Canadian shop but ordered several times from them from US no prob.
Not a pivot guy but at about $200 off retail (thanks weak CAD) thought I’d share. Corbetts is sold out of them last I checked
Are the prices listed on their website in usd? Seems odd. If they’re listed in cad there are some insane deals.Originally Posted by CYJ;[emoji[emoji6[emoji640
