As a broncos fan, I must say, did that guy really drop the ball before crossing the plane? I honestly don't think so, and I hate to win on BS calls like that, but hey, I've seen. it go the other way enough times too.

What annoyed me about that is they never showed an angle that would allow you to tell. All I saw was the same angles that were not taken straight across the plane of the goal line. But I gotta think the replay officials had access to that.

As a Vikings fan I think it had the feel of a possible sneaker game the Vikes could get complacent and blow at home for no good reason. Glad it didn't turn out that way. Still can't convince myself this Vikings team is for real. But damn with Jones running and Jefferson/Addison/Hockenson catching passes their offense is pretty legit.

Not even in the same league - it was just a free agent signing. They didn't have to give up a bunch of first round draft picks. Russell Wilson by the Broncos was way worse. There's been other bad ones like this over the past 20 years.

Honestly, it would not be surprising at all to see Penix struggle (rookie QB) and Cousins is only 13 months removed from an achilles tear. He very likely could be a much better QB -- and QB of the Falcons -- next year.

Yeah, there certainly are other contenders. Russ is playing well in Pittsburgh, so maybe the Denver org is to blame for all of that? Or Mike Tomlin is the best coach to ever exist?

When he's in Cleveland, and reunited with Stefanski, he will be ELITE.

I don't think Cle can afford to pay another qb 45M / until they are out of the DW contract ( Unless they can trade him. But I don't see another team trading for DW And his contract ( unless the Jets would take him for Aa-ron ))
But that still doesn't get Cousins to Cle.

And the lack of playoff success is significant for a qb who has been paid almost 500M in the last eight years.
