How much more money/resources is going into catching this guy, than your everyday murderer on the street? NYC averages about 1 murder per day, im guessing that the other 3 murders that happened since, arent getting 1% of the same resources.

It’s not a semi automatic pistol if it even was a Station Six, that’s a bolt action pistol

I haven't seen this many people openly cheering for the murderer since OJ took a ride. Gonna be the next trial of the century too, I think.

Spent 2 plus weeks screaming at people on the phone till I was able to reach someone who had some power at the health insurance company as i told everyone I spoke with "if you can be helpful I won't reach down your throat and rip your cunt out" I will shove ny cocktail so far down your throat it'll come out your asshole." I make none of this up. "American American American" wad another thing I'd repeat when I'd hit a foreign call center

Not that I'm planning on murdering anyone, but here are the notes I have taken so far -

    Don'ts!

    - choose a location with more surveillance cameras per square mile than anyplace else on Earth.
    - use a weird gun that's easy to trace.
    - flirt with the receptionist at the hostel.
    - leave anything at the crime scene that could contain DNA.

    Do's!

    - cover face.
    - e bike for get away.
    - backpack w/ change of clothes.

Understood. That’s why I said “and for a semi auto”. The question was asked does a suppressor screw up cycling of a semi auto.

For all the conspiracy they could have done a drive by at his MN home and gotten away easier.

For the record, I was attempting to ask how much it screwed it up, but probably failed.

Doubt that. He lives in a very affluent area, wouldn't be surprised if his driveway is gated. Maybe you could catch him coming or going. But disappearing in the rich suburbs and/or farm country would be a lot harder than NYC.

He wanted it on camera for the world to see. Manhattan is the perfect backdrop.

Police have always been about protecting private property. A healthcare company worth billions is the ultimate definition of their job.

I remember when Google's motto used to be "Don't Be Evil." Of course, they got rid of that.

Insurance companies don't even understand that conceptually.

Anyway, I think the killer gets away with it because Brian Thompson's insurance plan has a coverage limit of 72 hours of murder investigation.
