I'm 6' 160. The DW104 in 184 works great, but the DW feels short. I'd love to spin some laps on the 190's. The 184's are crazy quick. Still my favorite skis.

Not me. This is the wrong choice for the next limited release
The clear choice is a Ghost Train Tour Core Run or a run of the Exit World (triple camber version). The meridian 117 is cool ski but maybe you just alternate a batch in instead of the normal meridian at some point.
Deathwish 104 mounting...I'm generally a directional skier, what do I lose/gain by moving the mount back? -6 to -7? Just keep it on the line and let it rip?
Keep em on the line, I'm directional too. took me a minute to get used to them, but now I really enjoy them otl.

It is basically made to be a groomer twin tip, it has the most sidecut in their entire line, not quite symmetrical, but pretty close (119-85-111).

Been a long time lurker in this thread. First Moments were the Countach 110 182cm last year which I enjoyed overall as my first more directional ski, mounted on the line. It taught me a few things: how to not be afraid to stay on the front of the ski in steeps (I've never had this much ski out front before), holy crap directional skis are way more intuitive in bumps, and finally... I want more directional skis in the quiver. Being 5'10" and 165ish, the 182 was good in pretty much everything but DEEP snow, where I felt like the tails were too short and would sink hard, making it a struggle to get out of the back seat. Moved up to the 188 this year and went +1 from recommended, hoping to get more deep snow performance out of them and have a very very stable platform for going fast. Want to replace the 182s, which are much more playful/quick/slashy/easy than the 188s, with a Countach 104 in 182 or the Declivity X 102 in 180.
That was somewhat of my experience as well. Countach 110 194 for me, I'm 6'4" 205. I have limited experience with them in deepish powder but the 8ish inch snow the tails sank and I found the tails to be a little hooky. The tips were no problem and they stayed up on top. I need more days on them in deeper snow, but the more I think about those skis, I'm unsure of their application. They absolutely charge on groomers and wide open spaces, think of the high alpine at Breck or something similar.
^ same skis. Same size skier. It currently occupies my 2-8 inches and leftovers slot. Have not had the hooky experience at all. Maybe check your tune? Tails will sink at low speed and when you're in the backseat...
