Looks like he was using (maybe subsonic?) ammo that wasn't cycling, so he was hand racking after every shot. Looks like he/she knew what they were doing.

Bear spray is the preferred weapon of choice for e-bikers IIRC around here.

What does their sexual orientation have to do with this?

One would assume a premeditated revenge killing involved figuring out where the target is and practicing with your gun. So, not convinced it was a Pro just because he had practiced racking his shitty setup... but could be a professional. I'd think a Pro wouldn't have missed and hit the leg... and would have done a head shot to confirm. His target lived all the way to the trauma bay.

So is the gun nerd consensus that this guy was a hired pro, or an amateur seeking vengeance? The initial leg shot seems odd for a pro.

Maybe he was only semi-pro waiting for the call up.

Biathaletes are Skandahovians that ski and shoot guns while wearing Lycra, not sure of sexual orientation

somehow in a country with 1/2 a billion guns Americans suck at Biathalon ?

When junior was doing Biathalon the Subsonic Lapua match grade was 9$ a box while the cheap winchester stuff was 1.50 $ a box, at a meet the Lapua somehow got into his gun and he put it all in the bulseye but he wasn't normaly that good

not that I was ever a biatholete or shot lapua match grade but it was deadly accurate and and just made soft pop whereas the cheap winchester stuff was LOUD and shot all over the place

Well played sir. I feel like I shouldn't be laughing while reading this thread, but welcome to America in 2024.

Change it to shooting out a truck window at a deer and we'd kick all the ass.

The hate for healthcare is legitimate, but jfc this is horrible. I feel for his kids and wife.

He's making headlines, but people are shot every fucking day. When is it going to end.

I was referring to the city e-rental bikes that sit in piles on every street corner.

I don't think it's fair to take a firm stance on feeling for his wife and kids until Alex Jones has fact checked this whole thing.

I thought killing a healthcare CEO would require a wooden stake. Maybe the shooter used silver bullets?

Yup UHC is pretty much hated around here by customers and providers alike.

I don’t think this was a pro kill job. Poor place to do it, bad weapon, no head shot to make sure.

Unless somebody was trying to do this on a budget or had no idea how to go about hiring a hitter…

Now I wonder if the CEO would have made it if only his ER pre-auth hadn't been denied?

The doorman definitely wasn't going to be a hero. And what the hell is with that color blue suit? Is that UHC blue or something? Getting shot in the back. That's a hell of a way to go.

The days of Guillotines will make a revival. Oligarchs and Captains of Industry heads rolling, coming to a city near you.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
