    Yikes.

So what’s it up on? Did they find a new use case…?

Obviously it’s up on Trump’s win, but what’s the expectation? Less regulation? Bitcoin reserve? Something else?

I don't think it's *obviously* up on Trump's win. Price action has done the exact same thing every halving cycle in the past whether it's red team or blue team. We could get some more favorable tax treatment under Trump, I'm not holding my breath.

Maybe this time is different, but I intend to operate on the premise that the 4 year cycle will continue, with dampening volatility and diminished returns over time. We'll probably have a long grinding bear market again soon enough, although at higher levels. I'm guessing we've set a new floor around 60-70k, but I don't have a crystal ball. Nobody likes to buy when the price is down though...I'll never understand that.

Hell of a coincidence that this part of the four year cycle landed on exactly November 5th.

    correlation <> causation

I would venture that markets don't like uncertainty, everyone was holding their breath. I think this is a really stupid thing to argue about though.

Correlation doesn’t always equal causation, but it often does.

Price is up 46% from the day before the election. You have no interest in trying to understand why that may be?

Gensler is out. That's one of the biggest factors. Memes are celebratory:

Are we really pretending that Trump’s win and the GOP takeover isn’t a huge part of this surge?

This is just a coincidence and woulda happened regardless of the outcome?

I have my thoughts. I actually stated them, though I find them insufficient.

I’m asking what yours are, if you have any.

It could have happened on any of the 1461 days of the ‘four year cycle’. Purely chance that it happened on Election Day.

I have a bridge to sell you if you believe that, which given the credulousness here… maybe?

Billionaires pumping before they turn around and dump?
Buttcoin has no fundamentals so that’s the only reason.

I think the top is in. I just saw a porn video titled something like "crypto investor buys Mr. Nakamoto's house with Doge coin and has sex to celebrate". (Saw, not watched because I have standards. No step siblings? Not interested)

Chainlink headed in the right direction, finally. Man it's been an exercise in patience.

Makes me wonder how it'll all unwind. Infinite money glitch = too good to be true?

Yep pretty much every hater looking dumb AF about now. I do wish I kept the BTC I bought for 220$ in 2013, sold for 3600$ few years later. Had no idea what it was. Oh well. Got back in at 9k. Whatever.

I'm holding for that next 15 yrs
