Nice tarpitecture, but that's not regulation blue.

The body isn't in the greatest shape but mechanically it's a monster. There's just something about an old Caddy motor with a proper flowing exhaust, the sound is just wonderful.
Everytime I see one of those land yacht convertibles I smile and am reminded of one very hazy night in college where a buddy had a 78 Eldorado Convertible in buttercream yellow and a white roof.
He was the bartender at the local and wanted to take the party back to his place after last call. I think we managed to get 14 or so of us into that boat with the top down (in late October). My house was on their way so I hopped in as well.
As he rounded the corner onto my narrow ass street with parallel parked cars on both sides he decided it was a good idea to gun it, and as he did he quickly realized that his ship of fools was just a touch too wide when he started hearing the side mirrors of the cars on both sides get slapped back against their bodies or worse, get blown off, over the hood and back into the very crowded steerage class compartment.
As I quickly yelled, "here's good!" and hopped out (no where near my house) he got back on the gas and out of sight to the sound of those (as you put it) flowing exhaust pipes, and mirrors losing their mounts like a fucking xylophone.
Good times, thanks for the trip down memory lane.
