I know we've got several levels of resistance ahead before new ATH, but going in the right direction. Gotta love that harvest moon!

You still mining?^
Oh yes I am. Was in low power mode all summer, now increasing with the colder temps and lower electricity price.

Another leg up, still looking good.

Buy and hold BTC because:
Saylor says you are a paranoid crypto anarchist if you hold your own keys and don't trust the government:

It looks like Saylor sees Bitcoin as an investment vehicle, not as a currency
Huh
Microsoft voting to hold BTC as an asset. Heading in the right direction. Next thing you know jong will hold BTC.
Don’t hold your breath.
Hey, I should be on the Microsoft board, we all think Bitcoin sucks:

It'll just keep going up. Good news, you get to watch.

Jong watching BTC go up. His favorite position.

I’m mildly irritated with the current situation.
Buy the top jong. You'll feel better
Line goes up is better than line goes down - but it’s too bad $70,000 today isn’t what $70,000 was 5 years ago.
Seems like some sort of election mini pump? Wouldn't be surprised to see a drop. Who knows
Pro-crypto is now bipartisan. The crypto industry is betting on an accommodating Congress no matter who wins the presidential election. I don't think Biden ever cared about crypto. Appointing Gary Gensler turned out to be a self inflicted wound driven by Elizabeth Warren. I'm also seeing lots of people arguing treasury bonds are uninvestable so buy gold and bitcoin instead.
I don't own any long bonds, haven't since February 2020, but I wold still caution against betting on a dollar collapse. Even though the U.S. debt is enormous, the dollar is still stable. That's because today there are few practical benefits to gold & bitcoin, and really no other good dollar alternatives. Future problems based on long run factors are not going to manifest next week. In the meantime, the crypto revolution is being driven by programmable currencies denominated in dollars.
Well said. I do see bitcoin more as a commodity than a currency, but like I always say, it's just tech and we need to see how it gets used.

I predict a price jump if Trump wins (for no actual good reason) and it to remain flat with a Harris win.
BTC will probably go up in any case; it's already nibbling through resistance, and the MSFT news bit is an example of how it's gaining, not losing, credibility. But whatever, there are bigger rides to be had out there these days, and with less risk (there've been some nice earnings season bumps in the last few days, hopefully there will be a few more in the coming week or so). And as I said a few weeks ago, if you want pure momo action, DJT is (or, perhaps at this point, was) where it's at; not that I'd touch that bullshit stock.
