I'll take a pair of V12s instead.

I worked for an Apache dealer in the mid 80's, they were fun boats, sea trials consisted of doing anything the oner may do with it. every boat got a good run thru Jones Inlet. Most came with 540ci 575hp motors but others did come with higher hp engines, never saw V12's in one.
The owner of the dealership owned the Apache Chief, 52' with twin 8v92's and Arneson drives,

Man I actually loved doing shit for my boat in the yard (cleaning/polishing/etc, doing minor maintenance or improvements - staining the wood bits, etc.) My wife re-upholsetered all the cabin cushions two winters ago..
Shit, I would sometimes just chill in my boat while she was sitting in the yard. That distinctive "boat smell", the feeling, all the fun memories made in her.... just sitting in her on dry land made me happyFuck!
Seems pretty involved. It just gets pumped out now? Where does it get pumped from?
it’s pretty straightforward. slice the line and shove it in. make sure you clamp it in tight to avoid leaking. it’s gonna stink fuckin’ horrible, so nose plugs are highly recommended.
was worth the trouble though. pump outs go much quicker now.
warning: anti-boat porn incoming
watched this fire from the house
That shitbox semi-liveaboard caught fire and destroyed the 28' sea sport and sailboat next to it

Pretty simple, you'll need a Y valve to switch from the pumpout fitting to the macerator and some 1 1/2" white sanitation hose (not the corrugated stuff). Macerators don't like to run dry and have problems self priming so mount it as low as possible. A heat gun makes the hoses more plyable and easier to take on and off.
We had a Pumpout boat here a few summers ago, I don't think it was ever used. Somehow they received a grant to convert it to electric (battery) powered, someone involved with the boat launched it after hours and brought it to it's slip. the next morning it was found sunk with only the empty holding tank keeping it from going under. Always remember to check your bilge plug before launching.

Good tip on the heat gun. Head has a Y valve for flushing overboard or into the tank. I've yet to pump anything into the tank so no stink. There's an existing 1" sanitation hose to a slightly above waterline through-hull. Thinking I'll install a dip tube in the top of the tank to macerator, attach 1" hose to macerator outflow. Could also cut Y valve into the pumpout hose but would rather not cut into anything.
Looking for pump mount points I wonder if it's possible to mount it on top of the tank.... not a lot of other options without awkward hose runs.
It doesn't look shitty there.
She’s a Ketch (mizzen mast forward of the rudder post) and she is beautiful, but a lot of work to keep her so. The owner was nice enough but I got tired of polishing everything. Glad to be working for myself taking care of small boats now.
The power boat was no slouch either.

Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!

Dude made a bunch of money and he’s spending it. Hard to argue with that.
