@Brownski bring the boat. I sorta remember a nice lake by Greek Peak which is close.

Aldo, I figured maybe when you guys were talking about replacing the heater core on his old Rover. Oh well.

The dirt track looks awesome but I’m up there midweek. I guess I’ll bring a boat or a bike or just look for a lake to go for a dip

There used to be a Doug's Fish Fry in Cortland. Not sure if it's still there. Better than Ted's.

I had Doug’s once after skiing Greek. Considering my deep Capital District roots, I feel like I have to stay loyal to Ted’s but Doug’s was really really good.

Any Mags in New York State that have or have heard of others around you that are using Empire Access (out of Prattsburgh, NY) for their Internet service provider? They are expanding and soon will be adding my address to their coverage. Just want to know if they are good company to deal with and comments before I sign up. Figure that their competition in the area established is Spectrum, I'd find it hard to believe they could be rated lower, but never know.

Is that the same dirt track that Tony Stewart had his incident?

maybe check out the 1890 house and see how the fuckin’ rich turn of the century folks lived in their day. it’s fairly interesting, and doesn’t take too long to get through.

Calling the recent research reliable is a stretch.

That far north it is likely a sturgeon.
But there were bull sharks up north in the Hudson by nyc years ago. Savage attacks. They can handle brackish water.
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

There was a reliable shark sighting in Hudson, NY a few years ago. That’s way farther north than Haverstraw. And I believe the attacks you’re referencing were in NJ. The Hudson is actually an estuary/fjord down here- super salty

Somewhere deep in this very thread is verified bull shark sightings way, way, way up the Hudson.

FFS, a dorsal fin like that on a sturgeon. Shake yourself Sandra.

good cause there really ain’t much else to do there since the nfl summer camps stopped happening on campus. main action in that town has always been hittin on the state college cuties. now, if you were a normal bloke, i’d have to say you’ve probably aged out of that racket. however, if ya were hit town sportin’ that fancy assed red ski patrol jacket of yours, i’m sure you’d be in like flynn with all the cutest co-eds…

    Yes NJ. I stand corrected.
They are weird sharks that can actually swim in fresh water for periods.

Skaneateles is closer and it also used to have a Doug's.

    Good luck pronouncing it.
