I really need to try micro dosing. But I really need it to be lab accurate measured for consistency and to reduce the chances of accidentally getting a recreational dose. I couldn't handle tripping balls right now.

I think you might be very likely to get a recreational dose if you try to take some of your own mushrooms

But I been buying the alice spark from these people and no problems

Pretty big runway between micro and balls, you can comfortably experiment w a decent digital scale. Yes there will be some variation from mush to mush but in 0.1 g increments you can find a sweet spot.

I tapered down over a two month period using these: https://www.goviter.com/products/viter-energy-mints/

I got all the way down to cutting them into quarters, 10 mg each. I think amazon sells taper packs.

I drink lots of herbal tea now, including roasted dandelion root, which has an earthiness a bit like coffee. I use stevia instead of sugar and don't feel deprived. I'm not really into mint tea, but love nettle.

I can't believe they used to sell those things in gas stations. Makes caffeine look like water to me.
I don't even know what mini thins are? But I have spent many a powder morning doing hot laps down loveland pass.

Thank you. If you don’t mind my asking, what was your daily caffeine intake before?

Not exactly sure but I estimate over 1000mg and the recommended safe upper limit is 400mg.

OMG. Very glad yo stopped so that you, an internet stranger I've never met*, will be not doing further harm to herself and will be sticking around the planet a little longer

*Now it's time to play degrees of separation. I may take him for granted (not my joke), however, I met Peruvian once. I think there's a few others but I only knew ttips usernames and they were northeast folks. So have you met Peruvian? Or somebody that knows him?

^^^that’s great you did that and were able to get off of it within two months. Did you use those mints and taper down the caffeine during that time or go cold turkey on the caffeine intake and those mints are what helped the withdrawal?

I went cold Turkey. First couple days were rough but after that was no prob really. I missed the ritual more than the caffeine mostly

Those mints contain 40mg caffeine each. I quit caffeinated beverages completely and tapered using the mints. It was hard but I feel ok now. Been caffeine free for about a month after a two month taper.

I’d stack an aspirin, a caffeine pill, and 2 mini thins together before a workout. Shit was great.

This is the kind of advice I’ve been hoping to find by hanging out in the fitness in your 40’s thread.
