You know how much tile and lathe and plaster can come out of a 100 year old bathroom?

    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

I was going to qualify is at "about $3K". Maybe I'm cheap.

Make sure the dump/transfer station will take that freezer in the roll off. I'd get charged an extra $500 if I tried to dispose of it like that.

It’s a buddy’s dump trailer and he brought it to me with the freezer in it. I don’t see any special fees associated at the local transfer station.

You figure 3k is what a contractor would have charged for that demo? Ouch.

SLCo landfills won't take them without a special tag indicating the freon has been removed. But, sounds like his problem, not yours.

Well…I have to take it and dump it, so I guess I’ll find out.
Luckily I have a one ton CRV:

With this one simple trick you can triple your disposal expenses with a hazmat fee and a new transmission….

About 3500 pounds. I'm guessing its nearly, or over, 10k all loaded up now. Don't worry, the CRV is rugged.

If the dump hassles you or wants too much money just negotiate to confirm it’s still on the trailer when you weigh out on the scale

PS. If they take it pay the fee. Drop the fridge. Then come back for the starting weight. No sense paying twice.

I confirmed no extra fees for the freezer. I'll report back with the total weight tomorrow.

Make sure you put it on low range and lock all 4 diffs when you start out. You'll need the torque.

It's all downhill to the dump! I know the manual says a max tow weight of 1500 pounds, but they build a margin of safety into that I'm sure.

At least you don't have to worry about overloading your rear suspension since it looks like you have at least a ton or two in negative tongue weight. The rear tires are still on the ground so you're GTG!

What you do is mount a winch to the CRV hitch, drive forward 100 feet, haul the trailer in, rinse and repeat all the way to the dump.

I was curious who was going to be the first to notice it's on the jack stand and probably not actually hooked up

Total weight was 8950 trailer included. Total load was 4750. No extra charges for the freezer.

The CRV hauled it like a champ but it did flip over backwards when I raised the dump bed and the load slid out the back.
