Those crews gotta be flying high today, hammering down and getting it done BEFORE Fourth of July weekend. Herculean effort.
    Cole me impressed!

thanks for the video. My daughter's getting married at the village at the end of August. I wasn't really worried about the Pass getting fixed by then, but it's nice to see the temp fix is already in hand and looks solid.

I took a lap over the pass yesterday and it's good to go. Almost like it didn't happen really.

Absolutely wild what they were able to get done in 3 weeks. I'm blown away.

There was a dickhead on Facebook bitching about how long it took. Said “What’s the big deal? They removed a few trees, and tamped down the dirt. Could have been done in a week.”’
    Everyone laughed at him.

This just came out in Slate magazine, written by a friend.
It’s pretty spot on, you can certainly feel her frustration.

In other news, gorgeous 4th weather, enjoy!

    What the fuck

    366,000 square feet?
    Two sub levels.

I ‘member when the four seasons was built. Largest private building in the state. The only one bigger was the state prison.

    Fuckkkkkk

If that giant building was worker housing it would be awesome. Every quarter you need to show a pay stub that you were employed for 30 hours a week. That’s the shit we need in all these fucked up towns
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

Unfortunately, then it wouldn’t pencil out, and no developer/builder would touch it to build at a loss without massive, MASSIVE subsidies. The town/county doesn’t have the money, the state hates us, and a wealth transfer tax is a non-starter.
We are in Wyoming, and that would be socialism.

There is actually shit tons of that here now compared to 5-10 years ago. Private/public partnerships with JHMR, the Hospital, Habitat For Humanity and Joe Rice.

Well, you're def not wrong about that. But I fully expect it to be an amplified shitshow, and they'll just act like it's the perfect plan.

But the chair will run faster...

apparently the gondola down is a disaster with everyone leaving at the same time.

I’m taking turns at the SK merch tent if anyone wants to come by.
I either ride my bike down Ferrin’s or Jog down.

There were 16 musicians on the stage at one point. A friend of mine is a drum tech/sound, he said it was nuts setting everyone up. (And down)
