With Daniel Donato entering the conversation, I’ll submit The Kitchen Dwellers. Psychedelic banjo jams may not be for everyone, but I’ve been enjoying it…

I have a pair of free tickets for James McMurtry at Globe Hall in Denver on Thur if anyone can use them. I saw him a couple years ago, knowing only "Chacktaw Bingo" and was blown away. That song is a big of an outlier, most are singer/songwriter genre. Highly recommended and wish I could make it this week.

know Xover and a few others had a good ole time in SLC the other night.
    He has so many gems.
Seen him often in many places.

If you listen to live in aught 3 you can hear me hoot and holler when Choctaw Bingo starts as it was recorded at the Zephyr ( RIP) in SLC.

Ah, the Zephyr. One of my favorite music venues of all time....lots of great memories. I'll give the Live album a listen.

    That’s right

Haven’t checked in on Jake Xerxes Fussell for a couple years, thanks for pointing me back in his direction. Good stuff.

Also new Randy Rogers & Wade Bowen today, what a release day. Don’t remember if the Hold My Beer series has made appearances in this thread but Vol. 1 is one of the best front to back country albums of the past decade.

It’s a great record, well deserved. She puts on an awesome live show, absolutely embodied Joplin on a cover of me and Bobby McGee (that I’m sure she does a lot given how well her voice does that ragged edge howl).
