My mother-in-law (who just died), printed the Internet. These are printouts of about every email she ever got. There are probably a dozen boxes like this.

Worked with a guy in the 2000’s who printed every work email and kept them in 3 binders. Thought he was a weirdo before learning this.

Worked with a guy in the 2010’s who did this, but kept them in bankers boxes. Stacks and stacks of them when we finally sent him on to his next opportunity.

Def a weirdo.

Wouldn’t have been so bad, but things like contracts and financial statements were littered in there (he was a CFO) so you couldn’t just shred it all.

In my case, she printed everything. She had no idea how to do anything. One time she said that Amazon makes it too easy to order stuff.

Of course not, hard copies were back up. He was paranoid he’d be accused of something and would not have an email to support his innocence.
