As opposed to getting spun, which is tripping on doses or Molly or a combination of both, known as the Candy Flip, not to be confused with the Hippie Flip

It reminds me of the Seinfeld where Jerry dates the Romanian gymnast with hopes she'd "use him as the apparatus,"

    Let's get it straight I'm a ricochet
Bouncing off these walls I could hit you all
When you see me come you better run

Yeah yeah, the world keeps spinning
It don't affect the way I'm thinking
    I'm spun outta control
    I'm spun now you're spun
Move upside and let the man go through...

Talked to a clerk in a Levi's store one time who said that when they cut the various pieces of fabric for a pair of jeans, they'll stack several pieces of denim and cut multiples at the same time. There's some wiggle, so not all the pieces come out exactly the same size. He said that was why jeans that are ostensibly the same size may not be, and said it's always worthwhile trying on several pairs to see if one fits better than the others.

In this day and age if they aren't cutting the fabric with a numerically controlled system with pretty tight tolerances, I don't even know what to say.

As long as I can remember spun always referred to tweakers or folks that were so nutty that they were indistinguishable from tweakers.

That's pretty amazing. It seems like they could save a lot of labor expense by automating. On the other hand I'm sure they are using the cheapest possible labor.

labor that earns $0.35 an hour vs how much for a machine with the same throughout? For customers that don’t really care about fit, because if they did they’d spend more on jeans?

I concur. My SIL went through a phase a few years back where she would update a family group text with the amount of times she pooped that day. Every day. My "unsubscribe" text did not work.

    Binding glue in my hair.

    Head hair, that is.

Yeah, water soluble, but not after 24 hours. Had to cut it out. Whisky may have been involved.

Had a riding mower. It worked fine, but had proprietary sheer pins that they stopped making. I got tired of messing with it and bought a new mower. Mentioned to a friend, who asked, that I was going to sell it for cheap to somebody who could either weld the problem away or could continue to make their own sheer pins out of bolts, like I’d been doing. He mentioned it to another mutual friend who was not at all handy and this guy decided he wanted to buy it and have his mechanic figure all that out.

He buys the mower, sends it to his mechanic, and they can’t figure it out. So now he had a pile and it was in the next town and now what?

Effing annoying. I gave him his money back and told him to just scrap it.
    focus.
