Any way to semi-legally park a vehicle in a way that makes it impossible for the garbage truck to get at the dumpster?

Or find some gnarly cans of hazardous waste, toss them into it and then report them for dumping hazardous chemicals.

Go to a painting company and ask for their empty cans. Dump their cans in the dumpster. Call WM and the City Public Works office to report the renovation company using the dumpster to improperly dispose of used paint cans. It will result in a nice big fine.

the other fun option is to schedule a Chipdrop. If you dont know, https://getchipdrop.com/ puts you on a list for local arborists to come a dump a load of wood chips/mulch on your driveway instead of having to pay to get rid of them. You can add directions of where to drop the chips. They do not call or knock or warn you when the chip drop will be coming. Just one day randomly after sending in the request you will magically have between 10-20yards of wood chips mulch sitting on your driveway or wherever you requested in your directions. Just create a burner email account on gmail and request a chipdrop to the address so that it blocks the parking spots next to the dumpster.

If you know the pickup schedule, come by the night before and lock the dumpster with a $5 masterlock. Its easy to cut off, but the trash company will not pickup the trash that day. Keep doing that at random the night before the pickup.

Ask your local grocery store for the expired poultry. Dump the expired poultry into the dumpster so that the juice coats the sides and bottom and it stinks horrifically.

and FWIW, if you live in a big tree area like i do, you will most likely get closer to 20yards than the 5yard piles that mostly appear in that video. Its A LOT of material to move and dispose of, and they most certainly will not take it back. Its really an awesome service, and super helpful for cheapasses like me, but also REALLY easy to abuse.

Is this street actually residential? Renovation companies and daycare facilities are usually going to be in mixed use areas at most.

This is not the owners fault, this is your fault for living in a mixed use area then complaining about mixed uses.

In jurisdictions I’ve worked and lived in there’s still noise ordinances in commercial/industrial zones, just different times and levels.

It’s entirely possible his side of the street is zoned differently than the side of the street with the business.

Most noise ordinances have a dB @ distance requirement that would apply here

recently the town was testing a new hybrid garbage truck where the operator just sits in the truck instead of going out to manualy hook up the bins, I asked the mayor for a demo so she arranged it to run on FB so everyone can see what the truck can do and the arms of those trucks can basicly reach a car width

I think you can just order like a box of spiders that you could figure out a way to release into the building. Rats may make their way to your house, but I bet spiders never leave the house.
