I don't want to sidetrack the thread too much, but I love to see a dad skiing with a kid in the backpack! My parents did this with me and my younger brother when we were little, so I grew up thinking it was normal. (though, I'm still not sure how my dad wrangled the backpack on fixed-grip center-pole double chairs!) Now that I'm older, I've realized it's a bit of a rarity. Good for you Chewski, glad to see the next generation of rippers is being raised well!

Without really knowing anything about pontoons, would a 159cm be too short for a ~5'-4" strong skier lady?
