Your guitar has obviously been modded. They didn’t come with that
pickgaurd afaik. Cool guitars, I tried to buy one myself a few years ago. Don’t see many on the used market around here which I assume means people like them.

Even though the neck is made in China, it still is the perfect shape for me, and resonates like a mother-fucker.
I wouldn’t mind finding a stock pick guard without the bridge plate cutaway, but I really like the pattern.

Nice - the ones you have look pretty flush with the tops of the saddles though which helps a lot. Is the neck shimmed at all?
I played about 4 of them I suppose? Great sounding for sure, even with stock pickups. I'm just not a fan of those vintage trems and tailpieces on Fenders. I can do T-O-M and Floyds all day, but just never bonded with a guitar with that bridge. I've had a few with Keyhole Brass saddles which were better, but still not the ones I'd ever reach for. I'm in the process of selling 4 guitars with Fender bridges.
I made a rule for myself about a year ago that I'd never pay over $1K for guitars any more. After years and hundreds of guitars, I've come to the conclusion that I sound how I sound, and an extra $2K doesn't help/hurt, so I just buy "budget" guitars these days. I can do a little modding to get the little tweaks I like - tuners, pickups, fretwork, setups, etc. - and still keep the cost down. I'm all digital as far as "amps" and stuff, so I find that they aren't as fussy about tone woods and such...
Meanwhile, here's my humble quiver.

Maybe, for a change, you should give an sg or a les paul a try.
At first i thouht you had much more overlap than you do, not realizing the same guitars were in multiple pictures.

Lol...I think I'm good for the time being...![]()
I do love Epi's! Having owned *many* Gibsons over the years, there was a time where the quality, workmanship, and components on Gibsons were head & shoulders above Epi, but Gibson has slipped - except in price - , and Epi has really stepped up.
I'm thinking Gibson is really after all the dentist Mags here at TGR. Their pricing has gone from ridiculous to "HUH?!?!?"

Pretty happy with it at the moment. Each has a reason to be. Still looking for a 6 string acoustic since I brought my old Washburn (first guitar 30+ years ago...sentimental value) up to the ski cabin. Looking for the right Martin if I ever come across it. PRS is my son's, small acoustic is my daughter's. Always wanted a Les Paul and like it for certain songs, but the 80's big head Japanese Strat gets the most playing time.

Very nice! The only Strat I've ever liked was my Deluxe Roadhouse Strat with the CBS headstock. Looks so cool...

I have a circa 1966 example of that grestch out fordelivery, and with the follow your driver on a map feature, i've watcerd the ups guy drive it all over town, being fourblocks from my house this morning, and just two blocks away just a few minutes ago, only to drive off to the other side of town both times.
I'm about to chase him down.

They say money can't buy happiness and they're fucking wrong when it comes to vintage guitars. Perhaps, true there is a lifetime spend learning how to make sounds that don't suck and all the hours that have led to that moment, but still, completly separate from the dpoamine cycle of search, antivipation, aquisition, possesion, the experience of that sweetnees of tone, like eatying food from a chef that can really layer flavors, can make you feel actual feelings agin. Like real emotions like an actual human being. eSpecially when all the electronics seem to work and the fretboard is just unoticeably good, so that you forget what a fretboard even is and just play.
I also like soaking frozen mango chunks in my grey goose overnight with some patron citronge and key lime hence typois. I cam stoll play fine but not fype.

That looks really cool - it's like a Spark in pedal form. I'll bet that's great value for money.
I have a Stomp XL and I would love it if there were an app to modify the settings with rather than through the onboard interface or over a usb connection to a computer. It's really powerful but also a pain in the ass. This looks easier.
