Yesterday was the best day of the season. 70-90cm that you actually skied. Late lift opening at 12. 20 people around. Deep fresh until closing. Definitely a top 10 all time day. Maybe top 5.
First run when we skinned up. It was overhead blower choking deep. After the sun had setteled things for, like 1 or 2 hours before the lift opened, it was just face shot deep.

the odds stacked in your favour. About time someone had some ULLR luck. I think you have preferred Weekend. Fucking church for youngest daughters holy communion prep and a sleep over 5 girls for eldest daughters 10th birthday.

    Killer Subtle!
Been a long time since I had a day that deep and cold. I would so love to have one of those days were all you see for three turns is snowflakes pressed against your goggles, and then quick breath before you dive deep again!!
    Top 5 is saying something!!!

So we roll in, road is open this time, but lifts are closed second day in a roll. Trees look fkin tasty, so we decide to skin and not clutch again to another place. Got all the shit together and started making our way up a ski road. Suddenly a guy burst out of nowhere shouting its closed. Is this shit normal in AUT? How fked do I get if I ignore him and just go? Im fkin pissed.

I’ve got a fat Balkan accent and don’t have an uncle from Dubai, so that might be a problem.

2 for the treeline - up to 2200 and 3 above. Will give it a try tomorrow morning, maybe they let me ski until noon and I can drive back home for 12 hours in accomplishment.
