Wonder if Stoy can still do that.

Having a big ol' dong helps with the rotation.

Really hope to get down for this. Work is busy as hell right now, but got several other days to use in the UT/WY/ID area. May as well stop in to this shindig.

    Group ticket info.

So the way they do it is: need to buy day of, good for that day only, 10 or more 5$ off.

So depending on who is skiing what day could be complex. I'm thinking I'll just Venmo whoever buys a ticket 30$, making the cost to you 40$. 70$ day rate.

I'll be rolling in wed early afternoon. We have the yurt wed Thur nights.

    Word.

    Extended Forecast
Eventually we should clear out a bit late next week (Feb 23-25). However, models are showing we could get active again by the end of next weekend into the last week of February. This time, we could have more cold air to work with. It's all very speculative at this point, but the EPS (Euro ensembles) do show above average precipitation anomalies for the last few days of February and first days of March

    Sounds promising.

^^^ from the sound of it, fresh snow would just be icing on an already big cake.

Skied the Beav when I lived in UT. Never have skied in bounds though, always making laps outside the ropes. Great terrain, easy skate back.

Thanks but I am not in town/US during that period. Baby Tarpon in Mexico are calling.

Anyone doing a quick down and back from the Bozeman area? Thinking of joining and would possibly like to hitch a ride there and back so I could leave my truck/camper with my wife in Bozeman. Bueller?

I'm thinking ski Targhee Tues/Wed and Beaver on Thurs or Targhee Tues and Beaver Weds/Thurs. All contingent on how the GFs minor surgery goes on Monday am. If she's good I'm rolling south Monday afternoon.

Not day tripping... I’d spend a night.

At this point, given the BBowl doughnut hole, we will probably head for Alta/Bird with the camper and stop in at the Beaver shindig on the way there or back.

    Ski ya soon!

    Ski The Beav(UT) 2-28/29 2024 A TRG SUMMIT!

Don’t think I can miss 3 days of work next week. Current plan is head down early Wednesday to catch a full ski day, spend night, ski Thursday and book it back up.

    Stoked!

Alright. My plan is to ski Alta Wednesday (if anyone wants to meet up), drive up to the Beav Wednesday night. Ski the Beav Thursday. My Friday is still up in the air, if I can stay I will, if I can't then I got to hump it back to Durango. As I said earlier I can bring Colorado party favors for anyone that needs them whether it's a beer you can't get local or a dispensary item, just shoot me a pm.

hmmm... what's the exact location of the resort? i google directions, and they shoot you directly to center of Logan town center...I assume this place is up the canyon from there?

^ Eh? Google Maps, and enter "Beaver Mountain Ski Area" into the input box. Zoom in on sat-view and you can actually see the yurt.

I'm looking at the forecast, and yeah, I think I want to have planks on the hill Wednesday AM. Storm winding down mid-week (or perhaps not yet winding down), sleepy uncrowded resort, fresh turns all day long, FKNA!!!!

Question: What's up with discount tix logistics? Am I to understand that you want us to buy tix at the window, and after some kind of unknown Step Two, you venmo the discount savings to me? As opposed to me venmo-ing money to you? Huh??

If you’re looking at a map it’s basically located at the most northerly point along 89 between Logan and Garden City

Radar hoping for a Wednesday early dinner time arrival for an overnight into a Thursday ride day if there is still room for a twin air mattress in the yurt.
