Harry, you going to bounce today or ski and then drive south? Probably going to head down around 10.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Just saw on Facebook that Teton Pass is suspending operations for the season. Here's a link to a letter from Charles.

    Fucking sucks.

Not Harry but he skied with me this morning and headed south just after high noon. Sorry we missed you.

Fucking brutal. I have yet to get my ass up there, but from what I have seen online this is a real true grit ski area and I wish them the best in the future.

It's extra brutal that they alone plow the road which has a ton of access for that area which means it might be impassable until late spring. Hoping they get a great year next year.

The usfs up there are cocks to him and that operation. They want it gone. So I've been told. They could do a lot more to help an operation like that. Some butting heads up there. The place is so unique out there and cool.

Someone tell letterman to kick down

    Get David on the horn!

From my understanding the USFS kinda hates fun in general, so that rumor checks out.

Brutal lineups and horrible snow at the local bump....

Timing was perfect today and just kept hitting openings, especially ones that haven't seen skis this season. I needed a day like this.

I think that's kinda the quote of the "season" and how we've all been feeling.

The Darkside skied well today. Skied with a couple of ex-patroller legends and although we talked about going to Fat City, the crowds were minimal, the snow showers kept up and the skiing was pretty good.

Everyone needs to remember the Forest Circus is Dept. of Agriculture. Not fun. FFS the BLM is lightyears ahead in serving the greater public good.

Things starting to slowly fill in but still lots of downshifting to get through areas with some spicy meatballs.

Today I did both kinds of skiing, downhill at Big Sky until noon, then drove to West Yellowstone and busted out 2 hours of heart pumping Nordic.

I’m bunking down at the Days Inn tonight and plan to do another 3-4 hours of Nordic tomorrow morning.

Then drive down to Jackson tomorrow afternoon and ski JHMR for several days.

Whitefish did not disappoint today. First time and I am impressed with the amount of good treen runs. North facing trees still held fluff. Hope the forecast for a few inches overnight holds true.

Into the park next before Schweitzer and 49deg north.

Today could well be the best of the season, still snowing.

Of course it is, I am tied up with work this morning. With the snow continuing maybe the afternoon will be more than Swimmy and WRG's sloppy seconds.
