Ayahuasca Aaron probably thinks he's as far out as Bowie, but in reality he's just another Andrew Ridgely.

I don’t know how you all still do it as fans, tbh.

After some reflection, I can’t be anything but happy with how this team played this season, and all the injuries and roster uncertainty they overcame. I’m flabbergasted at their performance this weekend but hey, they could have been sitting at home like the Bengals, and they only lost just one star QB! Chumps!

Anyway, happy the Steelers lost, that their fans are still intent on firing Tomlin for some reason, and that Nick Chubb will play next year. I hope someone asks about a trade for Watson too.

    Go Browns.

Hey man, think of the outlook for next year! We lost an incredible number of games due to injuries - to some very key people. We get them all back next year - it's like five or six top 10 draft picks!

All-Pro RB lost for the year in the second game
An All-Pro tackle, a solid second starting tackle, and a guy who was shaping up to be the best rookie tackle in the League, all out for the year. Three high end tackles coming back!
Our top 3 WRs were all very injured even though they were playing - they will all be healthy!
Our All-Pro guard - was playing, but could barely move.
Our QB, who had one of the best halves of any QB in the league this year when he was the last QB to beat the Ravens. Out for the year
Our top CB who was on one leg in the playoffs
Our Defensive POTY candidate who ripped his shoulder in half 6 games from seasons end but kept playing.
Our potentially All Pro Kicker if he hadn't gotten hurt. Out for the year
Our nearly All Pro young Safety. Out for the year
Our other starting safety was seriously injured but played through it.
Our young, promising backup QB. Out for the year.

Of our starting 11 offensive players, 4 were out and 3 were so banged up they couldn't play like themselves. On D we were missing 1 starter and 3 were so banged up they were a shadow of themselves. No other team had anything close to that! Think of all that returning talent! Who needs first round picks! Plus our defense will get even more used to Swartz! We are ripping through the league next year!!

And that, my friend, is how the hope kills ya.

Mark my words, if the Browns won that playoff game ESPN etc. would have picked up the masterclass GM Andrew Berry put together despite the whole team getting injured.

Yep. I bet Stefanski will get his flowers for navigating that adversity with a Coach of the Year Award, but you’re right, I think Andrew Berry deserves as much credit for getting that smoldering bus wreck of a roster to the playoffs.

It will sort of be funny if he wins it despite getting blown out by the other COTY candidate

Absolutely, but if I'm not mistaken, I think all the votes were in before the Wild Card games started?

    I'm pretty-sure the fully-guaranteed 230M qb is no trade.

Dorsey? For your sake I hope in year three he learns how to be a play caller and not just a play designer

    Stefanski calls the plays.

Should be a good move. Dorsey will have to get used to seeing the big Lake in 270° though, as opposed to just due West. That can get pretty disorienting I’m sure.

The good news is you can't move a professional team out of Ohio without first offering to sell to an Ohio-based buyer group (Art Modell's Law), so at least I don't think it's a power play by the Haslams. They legit want to develop the lakefront where the stadium currently sits into something not a football stadium.

Cleveland has millions of infrastructure money scheduled for that area and the east side of the river, including a million bucks for a stadium if they get a women's pro soccer team, so it may simply be that the lakefront is too valuable to waste on a stadium as it gets more developed.

Which is most likely very true.

Do you think the new stadium will have a wall of fame for all the starting quarterbacks?

If they don't have a wall of fame like the Vietnam Memorial with all those fallen QBs then it will be a crime.

You're not kidding about the Lakefront development. The state has come through with a literal truckload of cash to help make the below plans come to fruition sooner rather than later. Everyone is tired of wasting the biggest natural resource the city has. The Haslams (and Cavs' owner Dan Gilbert) are heavily invested in that project as well and I don't think either of them are keen on keeping the stadium on the Lake - Jimmy wants a full blown mixed use district much like the Braves have here in The Battery.

This is one of the parcels the Haslam group went under contract on today by the Airport:

This site the Haslams have their eye on makes way too much sense. It gets them their NWSL stadium and a new covered NFL stadium and it's still downtown by the Jake and walkable to everything.

Would they ever be able to build a wall big enough for that shrine?
