This is not the political thread! This is the why the fuck are people killing each other in Tahoe thread.

There were at least 3 sheriffs or other agency cars in the restaurant parking lot all night. It was rumored the shooter was caught in Tahoma on 6th street but now I'm also hearing he is still at large. Apparently it was two employees of a Sunnyside restaurant in a fight. They had a connection to someone at Swiss Lakewood

Bear Valley usually. I'm not sure about post fire, but pre fire Sierra was the obvious place for everyone to ski on the way home from Tahoe so Sundays were a busy day. But Sierra is 1.5 hours closer

^^ Nice! Love that style in the air. I’ve been on the shelf due to injury and finally get to return to snow next week. Fingers crossed it’s good timing.

Probably arguing about politics. I kid. I'll keep my Jong ass opinions to myself and stick to skiing.

    Most excellent stokage.
Love the angulation in the choke and that the Blizzard base logo is visible in that other shot.

Thanks All. I have always been really into ski action photography.......so now, in addition to my (self described) Junior Freeride Coach role, I also am quick on the trigger with whatever lines we are scoping.

Thanks for the beta! I cant drive more than 30mi without hitting a dead end now, so the longer drive might be fun anyway, if it avoids a crowd then even better.

If you go to BV, leave us some feedback. I haven't been there in probably almost 20 years. What was the name of that bar downtown? We used to walk there and crawl back.

There's new signage to that effect at the entrance this year too.

Haven't been but I doubt it. It would be cool if they saved some spots for overnight that wouldn't hinder plowing the rest of the lot

I’ve parked at blue lakes a couple times this year, I didn’t notice a sign, but I didn’t notice the one in the meiss lot either. Can say there was an old bus converted into a camper that was parked there for a couple weeks though.

It also may keep falling for a few days[emoji50]. And snow levels will be fairly low 🤫

Oh man, I hope so. Things are starting to look pretty bad on the lower mountain at OV. We did some pretty serious all-terrain skiing today.

Snowing now, but not really sticking at 7k.
