Switching things up to Verbier this weekend instead it seems. Lower gate on the Bec as the start.

Do we have a Funbet group for this year or are we using the same one as last season?

I agree with the top 3. 2and3 could be changed.
It got really warm, guess conditions got way worse during the men’s field. So higher bibs did not have the same snow and light.

Maybe this link works. Gajin and total immortal are already in the game!

Damn again how many times has total immortal won our league.

I will put a blank bank on max hitzig for the whole season.

No problem man, powdizzle ready for some schnitzel

I am stocked about this league thing. I know it is childish but somehow cool.

Weibo your overall ranking was pretty good last year if I recall it right?

Thanks for letting me into the league again. It's always fun. And yes, lots of voting for Hitzig this year. Maxime really has this game dialed but I have a hunch Hitzig is learning a thing or two. I get super stoked when rookies blow my mind. Still wanna see Turdell on the podium. His style I can most relate to. In order to put myself in the younger kids' shoes I have to enter fantasy land.

And fuck, tomorrow (evening in JP) can't come soon enough.

I got pretty lucky and I learned there is only an overall prize for first. I got to be the first loser.

Why the lower start? Is it a snow thing or are they saving the top start gate for the big season ender. Come to think of it, are they going to do the double Bec this year or is this the only visit to those hallowed grounds for 2024?

Bec to start and Bec to finish. I would assume they are saving the top for the end and to keep it's air as too dangerous for the folks before the cutoff.

I would also assume that this is the first comp of the season. Typically, these events build throughout the season. Also, I would admit that I'm a very weak competitor and perhaps today's pros don't really care about the "level" of any given venue at any given date of the season.

/shrug... super stoked they were able to re-direction on such a short notice.

    Let's go, Turdell.

Every year there are some people at the first few stops who struggle to complete full runs on their feet, and one competitor in particular who has made a habit out of attempting lines with a ~10% chance of landing. The first few venues have lower consequences for crashing than the Bec (though theyre still fucking gnarly). The full Bec should be for the folks who are calculated and/or at the very top of their game, and have shown the ability to not get lost on their line IMO. E.g. Bimboes' accidental straightline of the venue is not what organizers want, but if shit does happen and someone does get themselves into that situation they should at their peak mental and physical form to ride it out... something that takes a season to build.

if you like the flippy spinny stuff, there's lots of stars in this one, plus it's from nendaz so you get an idea of the conditions for tomorrow.

Maxime chabloz mentions in his vlog the comp gonna be on the lookers right side of the venue.

That was great. I like those sort of comps that seem a bit less competitive and everyone's just having a good time.

Also re-affirms that I hate drone shots. I'm sure it's a much cheaper way to broadcast the event though.
