Good day and nice meeting you! Next time, we’ll get some turns together.
No pictures from me as I carpooled with a friend and left my phone in my car in Nanuet.
Freefall au natural was really nice and probably ROTD. Upper Face right under the guns was good, albeit the visibility sucked. Plunge good until Patrol closed the “back door” entrance.
While it was cold, it was quite bearable. We managed to get about 6-7 runs in between breaks. Hotronics and boot gloves were a life saver today.
Because rich has nothing to do with money.
Ha! Did somebody pull a rope up there? I thought I was the only one on the double side most of the day.

an “unintentional accident occurred on the chairlifts” is a shitty way to go.
it was fucking horrible. took an extended period to get him down.
So the deceased was a ski patroller that fellow ski patrollers had to respond to because he fell off the lift chair? Sorry to hear that and RIP to the patroller and condolences to all the ski patrol. I rarely see skiers take their backpacks off and if a patroller pack with potentially needed gear as a patroller, that is even worst (compared to those that carry 6 packs, bluetooth speakers and other "gear" in their packs.
I feel like getting hit by a train could mimic the effects of being impaired by alcohol. Not saying he wasn’t impaired by alcohol- just want to wait for the blood test results. And why the hell rely on a field sobriety test? I know Massena is way the fuck up there and tiny but they must have a breathalyzer or two available to them. Also, is it possible my HS (located in Troy) actually played Massena? I have some vague memory of us playing Massena but looking at a map now, that seems impossible. My brain is going for sure.
I still call it The Jake.
