Fixed, sorry!
Ok ordered!
Is $154 CDN shipping to Canada the right price? Yeesh!
I tried to use the free shipping code you have posted on the site but it said not available for my address. Could the code reduce my shipping by that amount?
Those topsheets are amazing by the way!

Goal: ski in the 2018/19 season
Hey Shorty,
You’ll get dinged with Canadian taxes too…I think I was about $1,247.00 CDN all in (skis + ship cost + taxes) once my FR110’s arrived. But these are not your normal skis. And what else are you gonna buy that will make you this happy?
KC
PS those swallowtails look sick!

There is ONE pair of 193cm FR110's available to buy and shipping right away.

Would love to hear more about the FR110 vs R110 especially for directional skiers. IE, for a skier that intends to mount back from recommended on a FR110 - am I better served by going to the R110 and mounting closer to recommended?
I am guessing the the FR110, with more rocker, will still be easier to pivot and more surfy, at the expense of edgehold on firm compared to R110?
Asking because my FR110s are still unmounted and that's unlikely to change as I have no resort days this season thanks to fuckery by all my local hills.
So, I'd say that the FR110 is notably more soft snow biased. Quicker to pivot and will be next level in hot pow, setup snow, chop, that sort of thing. They carve quite well, but "for what they are".
The R110 is going to be more like a progressive daily driver... directional and engaged on edge, so can be driven harder on chalk and windbuff, and a more supportive tail in moguls. The R110 carves as good as anything out there.
Thanks Marshal!
I think I would love the R110 but sticking with the FR110 seems like it differentiates itself more from my already large quiver of mostly directional chargers.
Also, it ain't happening this year but the swallowtail looks sick and I'll end up with a pair for touring if it comes back next year![]()
@adrenalated, I really think once you open up the FR110 in some untracked snow you will be super glad you have them on your feet.
Finally mounted up my 180 FR110's with bright red solly STH 16s, 115mm brake. Almost went raw pivots but those brakes were only 95mm. The red Salomon color ties in nicely.
Work and being sick got in the way of getting them on snow this weekend. They felt great on the carpet.
Ski straight pull is 179.6cm.
+84cm from tail to boot center.
-5.8cm.

Looks fresh @kc_7777, that red works really well! Wouldn’t have thought to try it. Nice.

So I just spent the day on Marshall’s personal pair of R110s. Holy shit are those things DAMP. Felt like a had a trophy truck strapped to my feet. I will say for how fast you can go on them they really aren’t a burden at low speeds, super easy to drift/pivot. I don’t consider myself to be an amazing skier and I find this ski really accessible while also being able to provide what ever top end is desired by someone better than I. One of the draw backs was answering all the lift questions about the skis and Marshall’s Fischer race bindings lol.
I think I’m going to have to order myself a pair of my own to get more time on them…
Swallow tail too
Yeah I don't know what they are calling it.. it's in the 23/34 rumors thread.
But it would be sick on the R110... and many other skis for sure!

Skied my 110’s for the first time today at snowbird (waiting for coverage) was pretty damn pumped. Carved well, ate up the wind blown, was able to chase a pack of kids around in the get serious chutes. Zero complaints. Great ski. Hit a bunch of stuff and they shrugged it off. Thanks Marshall!
I rip the groomed on tele gear
Gotta be blue steel!

Super intrigued by the R110. Getting over the spinny, flippy, huck my meat days and am looking for a go fast but don’t take as many chances ski. Seems like the profile fits that bill. I just haven’t spent much time on a flat or reverse camber ski so I’m hesitant. Probably a long shot but any chance you would ever run a demo up in BC?
Love the new r110 topsheet as an added bonus.
