I know a bunch of folks here have made a donation to help Big MooseMountain (formerly squaw mountain) volunteer group keep going.
Here’s my post if you are interested

I come up 100 when I go to Kmart, I always park at Skyeship when it’s open. Easy in, easy out. Plus I love a Peak to Creek run to end the day.
SoVT was shall we say, variable today? Wicked wind scour with non-grippy ice, mix in some sastrugi and wind-jacked pow, natural trials were very lonely this morning.

Kmart bound tomorrow. White helmet, yellow shell, and brown pants.
11º bob with 3/4" of blower overnight, snow report is a fucking stretch today
Out for a while yesterday and conditions are very variable, never really know what the edges will find turn2turn on the natural snow trails. Hot Shot piles were soft and fun carving but miss a pile and the troughs were like oiled glass. Groomers have been tilled enough on lower angle trails to ski nice whilst Ripcord looked like water ice groomer tracks until Lower RC.

Edit; this is pretty sweet as well

Not sure of the exact machine. It’s on the front end of a big excavator and processes the tree and bush material. Just can’t get close to the ground. Big brush saws are probably the tool, but it’s a good bit of acreage.

Killington was great. Bit of rain crust lurking, but turn on the bumps.![]()
loving the recent updates. flutie flakes and oiled glass...
Pretty goddamn cold at MRG today but the snow was amazing where you could find it. Trees were skiing great with no crust and plenty of coverage. Snowed all day too, I’ll take it.

Way to go Mags… now this page is looking up! Patience hopefully will continue to be rewarded.
I’m packing up to head West in a few days…
Stopping Mid-West to meet Harry, kiss the ring of the Mayor, and stretch my legs for a ski with him… hoping to earn my T-shirt!
New sponsorship came through just in time for our 6 week Ridge Hippy retreat at Bridger… Sorry Canada, I’m defecting…
.
Will do my best to represent the ECRC in the soup/ chili cook-off

Best day of the year at Magic. We got to 100% by the end of the day. The Freeride team got to help get some of the terrain open (patrol had to twist our arms [emoji3]). Run of the day was a late day rope on Hans (no pics).
I took a bonus run with my 16 year old who is Jr. coaching this year. For your enjoyment, here are a few photos of him wrecking while throwing a 3 on one of the cliffs on Red Line. He stuck one earlier in the day, but no video of that one!
It was so f-ing great to have the whole mountain open [emoji106]

Hickory opened for the first time since 2015 today, and it was a hoot. I am whipped even still this morning.
A few phone pics. I took a bunch of shots with my camera, haven't really looked at those yet.
Fantastic day with challenging conditions.
