And if you do get up there on Saturday, I’d give it a 75% chance of being locked in your room Sunday. (Interlodge)

Thanks guys. Sounds like my timing is shit I’ll call the place just in case for Saturday night. That’s all assuming I can get to PdX first which is not a given either!

I have a jong question about Snowbasin. I am popping my cherry today on my value season pass. Can I use my pass from last year, or do I have to go up to the yurt and get a new pass?

going to be an interesting weekend weather wise in utah, but especially up in Ogden.

Pow mow closed for the day (Friday) due to severe weather.

Likely canyon closure driving all the ikon beaters up north (deer valley will reach reservation cap) - that with wind and terrain delays.

Look forward to skiing in a few (that's stoke ftr).

Alias - I should be on JP today, yellow coat, black helmet, gold pants on deathwishes. Value blackout starts tomorrow FYI.

NBABUCkS and alias, what time/how long will you guys be around today? I may come up this afternoon and close it out if we keep getting snow all day.

My wife is out of town today and if I want to stay married I need to be at my seven-year-old’s bus stop by 1:45, so I will probably leave there around noon. I’m just leaving my house now to drop him off at school. I’ll be headed to John Paul when I get there wearing a burnt orange helmet faded red jacket. Hopefully I run into some of you guys.

Yeah, I have an Alta parking res for Sunday, but made a DV reservation for Sunday and Monday last night. Saw Logan canyon is closed today from an Avy. It's going to be a mess this weekend for sure.

You're not wrong. And apparently only on the weekends my gf works, much to her dismay.

FYI, N. Ogden divide currently closed due to slide. Stay safe out there.

IDK but there’s something to this for sure. I work weekends all ski season and seem to miss out on a lot of storms. Also miss out on the shitshow and leftovers without that is fine. The last two days were incredible so no complaints here.

12:30 PM: The Red Snake wakes up to its alarm and peacefully sips its morning coffee and does some yoga in preparation for a fun evening of wreaking havoc.

Today was a day. Met up with dibs in line and waited for the 10 am opener. Three laps of grabby wind affected snow was…. Skiing

I bailed when they shut jp down again

Went to the bird at 930, sat in the car until 1030. Took 4 laps and decided that was enough. The skiing was pretty decent but only 2 main lifts open, and howling wind took the fun out of it.

Tomorrow and Sunday are going to be wild, may not even try

Snaked behind the garbage man on the way down. Great skiing, gnarly wind.

Sounds about like me. I lucked out in the morning because I wasn’t able to get there until about 9:40 but happened to run into an old friend who was part of a threesome, so I was able to jump in with them. Wasn’t the best conditions, but still a good time.

But I just have to say that those people that will drive in the right hand lane all the way past the Snowbasin turn off and then flip a quick U-turn and cut in front of 30 minutes of traffic can all go right straight to hell. No different than cutting in line and making it worse for everybody. Maybe I am a sucker, but it just seems like such a dick move.
