Thanks for the update, was wondering about his present status.

He's one of my oldest ski buds here, and our ski prep approaches are similar. Put the boots on and go skiing.
Glad he's on the mend. Looking at all of the locs who have donated to him was weird. Saw a bunch of old friends from the deep end of the gene pool. Even an ex-GF from the 90's... some names I'd forgotten.

Turns were pretty nice yesterday but brief. Had to vacate the pole position poach in a semi timely fashion.

More or less the least amount of snowfall at this point in the season in nearly fifty years of record keeping.

Big shout out to upallnight for playing safari host last night. I've been in town working/skiing the past few days and we finally got to meet up. He picked me up at the hotel and we went for a cruise looking to photograph wildlife.

We came to a spot where off in the distance you could see moose. So we parked, grabbed our gear, and went for a walk.

At one point, I think I counted 15 moose. Several of the bulls were sparring and it was really fun watching and hearing the clash of the paddles. For about an hour or so, we both fired off a bunch of shots and just enjoyed the experience. It is one of those moments that I'll never forget.

Thanks for sharing that with me.

Agreed. Took the grom up for the end of day 3-4pm laps at the ghee. Shocked how much snow was up there. Pockets of 6-8” in the favored zones. Still glorified dust on huge bumps (for the ghee at least…)

That's basically straight out of the camera. Sick light, f/2.0. Don't love some of the artifacts when downsized, but it looks beautiful when viewed in full.

skied solo the past few outings... no interesting imagery.

Just rolled in to town. I will be ripping up your mountains for the next week or so, mostly village and the ghee once or twice if I can swing it. Anyone PM if you want to ski, my ski partner bailed on this trip last minute so I’ll be mostly solo out there. Or if you just want to apres I’ll be doing that also (it is vacation after all).
