So your strategy is a time machine to go back 30 years to when you could ski and go big? That's mine too.. but 40 years

That was nuts ! His left ski got more air than he did. Reminds me of a Tucks crash I had ,I was more worried about being impaled by a flying ski than the slide.

Moguls are a way to bring out ones artistic talents ,either you got it or you don't. Can't fake it buying the most expensive equipment.

Full disclosure, I caught a little bit of air in the park last run of last season.. age 58.5.. No film at 11 but witnesses and best guess is similar to this.. from 10 years ago.. Hardly big like the old days but still hella fun.

Loving the resurrection of this thread, thanks guys.

100% bumps will sort out the riffraff with no gear able to cheat it.

Also had no clue Ski the East was still producing content. Thought they had given up Meathead Films and their Freeride Tour and switched to clothing only.

Gonna have to go see what they've been up to I guess. I think I still have a couple of their numbers in my phone, but it's been a decade since I've skied with Fater & Co...

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

    I like moguls sometimes.

Strong foundational skills. You just jump in and deal with what comes at you. Sometimes you absorb sometimes you go around and when in the grove you start launching maybe throw a little trick. Cuz that's how we roll.

Pick Your Poison>before they get deep ruts...that's when Moguls are fun

if you are not a bump basher, then carve the rounded tops once they are rutted

But he was a cool bloke who urged me to pull my 225 K2 GS skis out of retirement and point ‘em downhill!

Joey is still the master for old school (and still valid) bump skiing. He's still ripping here in N. Idaho.

Thanks for the Joey Cordeau vid. Good stuff. Now I’m fired up to go ski some bumps today.

    This was a good article:

Sprinkle a foot of snow and ski the front/back of the tops with an occasional trough

If your skis are big enough you can just make your own line right across the top
