Oh sure big egos and some don’t like each other, but it can be a bit funny watching some of them posturing on the court. I suppose the nba could have a mentally unstable person as much as any other part of society and go off.

I have absolutely played with and against guys I did not like on the field but thought were totally cool off the field. That's just sports.

But yeah, Rudy seems a special case.

2023/2024 NBA THREAD: WHO WANTS TO GO ON PARADE?!?

Iguodala’s memoir “The Sixth Man” goes into this in detail. It’s a really good read.

I was also trying to think of a trade with the Dubs that would make some sense for Grant and it seems like it too would need to involve Clay.

anyhow, they suck, but there is reason to feel good about the team.
Anferno Simons is averaging 30.2ppg since returning from injury. Scoot is starting to develop as well, with some bigger games as of late. This *could* be the best back court in the NBA in a few years...the question is do they hold on to Scoot, Ant and Shaedon? Can they? I'd love to see them trade one of them (I'd prefer Scoot as if today) when the time is right for a youngish 4/5. And to your point, a vet like Clay would be a great presence on this team.

Will Hardy is a good coach. Beat the knicks last night and domin-ayton-ing the blazers tonight. 4 starters are injured, and hardy has these guys playing hoops.

Kessler has 7 blocks and I think he’s been on the bench the whole second half.

Sorry Rev. tuned into this game to watch the blazers, scoots having a game but sharpe is 1-11 so not his best game. Certainly a bunch of fun young guns to root for on both teams

That specific play Hardy was called for a foul...but to your point, Ayton is disappointing at the moment.
Damn shame, throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that

Darius Garland suffered a broken jaw in last nights (close) loss. Out for several weeks.

I think Sharpe has what it takes to become a star....dude is an athletic freak.

Scoot doesn't seem to have the natural shooting ability, but maybe he could get better at it??? Kinda doubtful he'll ever be an elite shooter without having an innate ability.

I've thought for quite a while that Ant's is a bigger liability than the value of his offense. Seems like Mr. Big Shot agrees.

Fair. But with Lillard being Ant's mentor, what would you expect? I do agree, but I think he can be coached...he's barely 25. Much harder to coach a 30ppg player than a decent defender.

So when's Detroits coach going to be fired? Coach of the year with the suns but something not clicking there...nice roster too.

Yeah, he’s a very tough loss. But he’s now got company as another member of the starting 5, Evan Mobley is having surgery on his ankle today.

    Double neat.

Coattails Klay. Fourth best player on the team for 3/4 of the championships. Dude is/was seriously overrated.
