I assume they’ll open Little Cloud Saturday as well, as the terrain there is already mostly open.

At Ogden Nordic two days ago, we saw a few people coming down out of the Cutler Ridge area. Wasn't great snow to be off the groomed that day, but there was coverage. With another foot or so being added now, it should be good.

Especially if the Tram’s closed LOL

The wind’s bad today but the new Tram sure doesn’t handle wind like the old one and only 80% of the capacity and the slippery floor. The old Tram was better.

Do I get a free bitch ticket for my birthday?

HBD! Whatever you are skiing today is probably better than the rotten layer cake we have in the San Juans, so you've got that going for you.

That's a duplicate bitch ticket from last season, so no points will be counted against your quota

Pretty good last couple days, eh?
Gonna get outta the way the next couple...
Anyone hear bout the lady that violated Rd. to Provo 4 days ago?
Guess there's a video showing the public yelling "Come back, down go out there, shit like that".
She drops in bout a hundred yards in from the signline, triggers the mid slope, and rides the chunks like a pro.
Slide made it over the breakover down at Dr. Hip.
Next day the boys asked me to look it over; they couldn't think of a bigger violator slide.
    I couldn't either.
Guess she's not around for a bit...

Agreed! Paying homage to Ullr in the PDog. Come join me if stuck in the snake. Bright yellow hat at the bar.

good day at solitude, i'd a been better off in the other canyon. Got in the bus line at 2:15 to head home, decided the move was to go up to Brighton to come back down (good idea in hindsite). Out of canyon at 5:15.

Heard on the radio that the bus had left alta 1.5 hours ago and hadn't made it to the bypass road yet at about 5:00 lol.

    snow tires!

This the slide you're referencing? Heard a similar story from a liftie on gad. Crazy that anyone was able to ride out of that thing

Took 1 hour to get from Solitude to Silverfork Lodge and 2.5 hours to get down the canyon. Left at 4:15. My theory is that enough people have moved here from warm, sunny states who can't drive in winter that we are completely fucked.

Took us 30 mins to get out of the lot at the Bird then another hour to get down the canyon. Grabbed an instructor who'd been waiting for the bus for an hour, dropped him off in C-Heights to make it home in two hours total. To be expected on a day like today I guess.

A UTA bus was stuck on Wilbur hill at Snowbird with no chains deployed WTF.

Anyhow, the skiing was excellent. We got word the Tram was open just as we were boarding zoom, got back there for a one boat wait. Next one was full maze and 1 row around the outside 1. Next one was one boat, then walk on. Brutal up high, causing a high attrition rate. Bad vis but the snow was so good you didn't have to see. We do need some more terrain though. It's a Travesty that Little Cloud isn't running. Always jealous of the Alta crew in the early season.

Thanks, that's the one, all right.
She didn't ride out of it, but was only buried to her waist.
Had herself dug out by the time patrol arrived.

I think they have a no trespass on her.

Ya know what they say about being an enforcer and not escalating a situation?
When I worked at the bird violations were such a problem.
And with such dangerous slopes adjacent to open areas had no tolerance.
First thing I used to say to em: "What kind of a pass did you used to have".
If they had attitude it came out real quick and bit em in the ass...

U-tards are getting some but I also think you are earning your lift served turns by having to deal with the traffic.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
