I'm not convinced the cops even check license plates in Utah. I've seen so many people driving around with empty frames, paper temp tags obscured behind heavy tint, etc. I drove for 3 years on an expired WV plate (even got a warning for speeding) without it so much as being questioned. It would be a good state to pull that sovereign citizen bullshit.
