Gotta be rust in there somewhere. No way is it that clean.
Perhaps but can guarantee a ton of 9’s
The "really reliable" part might put it outside of GL's comfort zone. OTOH it wasn't built by Nazi's, so that's a plus.

Ya know, I never really was aware when those things flipped from being giant pieces of shit, and became hot items. Restomod ones were all over Ketchum just like that.
We had a couple different ones when I was a kid in SLC, and I can clearly recall my parents being all pissed and fighting about having to take it back to the dealer "way the hell out down south" (45th south state or so is where the amc dealer was I believe).
When the engine on the second one seized up, my dad declared we would never own another American car ever again. This resulted in our purchase of a Toyota 4runner, and it's been all yota SUVs ever since.
sigless.
We all missed the curve in that one.

I'm pretty sure Fred and Dave did an Ultimate Adventure build with one back in the day.(Petersons 4wheel days). Think it even had the Allison behind it. I kinda hated avalanche's but the new ones aren't quite as bad...prob less likely to get sleepy than a pilot
