Any thoughts on what fork to get for a Cannondale Cujo 24+ ? Kept it stock rigid with the 24x2.6+ tires as the lower weight was good, but as he is getting bigger and stronger considering putting a suspension fork on it now

Manitou j-unit 24” or RS Reba 26” are probably gold standard, but relatively expensive. I put a Manitou Markhor 26” on my very lightweight daughters 24” bike which has worked very well for her.

My son's new Cleary Scout came with this SR Suntour XCR Air fork and its pretty slick for the price. The materials and quality feel like an mid level Rock Shox or Fox. It's a huge step up from a typical kid's coil fork and has a decent amount of adjustability.

Do you know what the widest tire that would clear the 26 in Markhor is? His cujo.has 24 x2.6 tires now

I bet the 2.6 will be fine. Here's my son's 24" DJ fork with a 2.0. The Markhour has to have at least this much clearance.

A 24x2.6 clears fine, though did switch her to a 24x2.3 w the suspension fork to drop some weight. Didn’t need the wide tire plus suspension fork. YMMV
